Head-Fi is the place to visit for advice. Current hungry headphones with low impedances can suffer if you're running them straight from source or through integrated amps, high impedance ones like Beyers, may suffer for other reasons.
You will find most people suggest a dedicated headphone amp; often expensive but to be honest can be pretty cheap and cheerful, doing the trick just as well as an expensive one for most headphones.

I have an acoustic now, as of three weeks ago. Gigged on it twice now!
Still haven't performed on my electric even though I've been playing it longer.
Play the acoustic every day.

Well I've just had my monthly trip to Steve James in Middlesbrough (no money to spend today though) and to be honest, with shops like this, you don't need the web
massive new stock, new Graham Coxon Tele to drool over, Orange gear everywhere and great staff.
Came out more informed than when I went in as usual.
