So has anyone taken the plunge on one of these yet?
As mentioned before I'm not keen on the look, but at just over £300 and weight I must confess to being mildly interested for the odd gig where the get-in is a pain, and need a little more wallop than a 1x12.
Any thoughts from owners so far!

Just picked one of these up from PMT M/cr-took it straight to rehearsal....Impressed you bet, exactly what i've been looking for, as for the weight -16kg one handed carry,I'm happy with that.
only one negative imo It would have benefitted with some kind of compression, tube drive is great, especially when you dig in.
Am I going to miss my Hartke/Ashdowns -dont think so -
The Gas Genie is currently manifesting itself in the shape of a Sandberg
I have nowhere to hide. -
Always a pleasure helping put the Gas demons of a fellow BCer back in the box Spike,
Unfortunately for me,mine are running riot in every room in the house atm.

I quite fancy one of these-I'm liking it more now as it weighs in at only 16kg-a huge reduction in potential post gig back ache, they have them in at PMT Manchester,I will probably nip down saturday and try to do a deal, -
Evening BCer's
I have just sold my bass rig and I am on the lookout for a lightweight outfit,
I clocked one of the new BG250's from TCE.In PMT Manchester.
It sounded quite good and with the extra tricks up it's sleeve seems to be an ideal replacement, and at 250w was equal in output to my last outfit-but at just 16kg I thought wow that is just what I'm looking for,
anyone else in bassland tried one of these? -

We recently Auditioned a new Drummer for our covers band,
And let him pick 6 tracks to learn from the set...
IMO its as much an audition for us as well as the drummer.

I've got a lefty 2008 Indonesian made Squier PJ.In terms of build quality, finish and playability I can't fault it,and I have used it in preference to my 78 Fender P,as it's a lot lighter. And black. The pickups are the weak spot, slot in some aftermarket pickups and in my opinion you'll have a very good bass.
[/quote]
I did exactly that, with my 2004 Squier PJ.
And also put on some flatwounds-awesome It's my no1 go to bass.
wouldnt ever part with it -
I can assure you it is,
I've driven past it lots of times(at speed )
even the taxis wont pick up from there-that place is just for the locals/gyppos.
should've been bulldozed years ago. -
I've had a couple of Aria's
including the Magna 5er
and i'm pretty sure that they had a 3way selector switch for the pick ups -neck-both-bridge.
Trev -
Ahh thats how it works is it-fuzz before filter.
I'll be sure to try that out later.
thank's for that
nice vids on you tube btw. -
I'd give the Graphic Fuzz a very wide berth-I had one,
sounds like it looks -Sh&%e(can I say that on here )
