1. I had the Boss ODB-3 for a while and i managed to get the sound you are looking for with it(well to my ears anyway)
now bear with me on this-its been a while since I had this pedal ;)
If memory serves me correct-I had the Balance Knob ALL the way over to OD,and the GAIN ALL the way down to Min(or vice versa)nope now I think about it balance knob all the way over to dry and the gain to max.
roll off the Highs,And boost the bass to around 10 o clock.
(adjust the EQ settings to taste)
That could do it for you-but like i said it's been a while.
hope this helps.

2. Evening low enders
just expanding on the OP-now that I'm down with my filters-
I'm looking for to expand on the use of my envelope filter(s)with a fuzz/distortion pedal.
ie one that I can use in conjunction with my Proton or my FT-2.
are there only certain fuzz pedals that can be triggered by the proton/ft-2 or is it something totally different,
I know that the stuff from Chunk systems works together but is this just these two pedals that it works with.
my current signal chain is TU2-Proton-BSW-FT-2-BBM-Ibanez Digital Chorus-CS3-LMB3-Amp
do I need another pedal of some sorts?
feel free to offer advice/ridicule-believe me it will be welcome

3. Bass,first+,2nd, wandered over to Sax briefly,then back to Bass-ics :D
and stayed there.
Unlike the talented cleverclogs my youngest has turned out to be-Drums,Guitar,Bass,Keys and Ukelele- and he plays them really well too! he now has gas for a Banjo(oh to be 16 again)

Never used the Emma unit unfortunately. But good job on scoring an FT-2! How do you like it so far?

Just had a couple of hours with my FT-2,
totally surprised with this little box of funk,
thank's for the heads up!
there is one for sale on the 'bay at the mo'
I suggest anyone who is looking for a cheap filter should try to nab one.

5. Hi,I got one made for my Squier Precision a few years back

I think it cost about £25 then-only about 5years ago they did a pretty good job and they where quick.

6. Basically we give the punters what they want,
whether it's pop, punk, indie rock-as long as the punters are up dancin'and go home happy-job done.
It does'nt suit everyone but as long as the majority enjoy it we know we'll get a repeat booking.

7. I cant comment on the Emma Discumbobulator, and I dont know what kind of sound you are after
but for the money I 'd go for the Proton by 3leaf Audio its based on the Mutron III.
you get a more wet slurpy sound.
I would ask Higgie or Pantherairsoft,as they have probably had every Envelope filter going.

8. Having been lucky enough to nab a Boss ft-2 on the 'bay recently,
I am now looking for a suitable expression pedal to go with it,
does anyone have any suggestions?

10. F@$&ing singers-ours now insists that the next drummer must be EXP with B.V's as well as playing drums-----WTF
iF this persists then their next bass guitarist will have to be a chuffin removal man,as well as playin the bass-feckarse
