  1. Not at all mate, im lookin at some of Thornybanks cabs so the rig might be back up. Anyway, the head is NOT the newer evo model (which are smaller, tolex covered and have a buit in compressor i believe). THis is UK built and has been gigged. Works fine but does have marker pen marks on the front to remember settings. Carpet a little bit bobbly but nothing major. Specs shamelessly stolen from one the same on ebay.... 307W RMS power Bass, middle, and treble controls Rotary controls for 15dB of cut/boost at 220Hz and at 1.6kHz Front panel shape switches for Bright and Deep settings Ashdown's acclaimed subharmonic generator for enhanced low-end response Active and passive bass inputs Effects send and return Tuner/line output Balanced DI output

  6. Right, ive decided to stick with the cabs for now. Was very tempted by the 2x15 trace on here but location means i cant. Just looking to sell the head. Heres a bump
  7. BUMP, willconsider selling as well. Rather not split at the moment tho, id say the 410 is worth maybe £100, the 115 about £75 and the head again about £100 so offers in this region would be great
  8. have a bump, i bought the cab of TDM and can vouch for a smooth transaction
  9. Ive got here an old (english made) Ashdown rig consisting of:- Ashdown MAG 300 head (English made and NOT evo model) Ashdown MAG 410 deep (old style grille with carpet covering) Ashdown MAG 115 deep (old style grille with carpet covering) All in great condition. The 410 is a bit older and has a couple of very slight knocks but nothing major. The 115 is pretty imaculate. The head is fine other than a few marker pen marks to denote past settings. Ive recently developed major GAS for a Barefaced vintage to pair with my Hartke HA5500. So anyone has a Vintage and looking to do some kind of exchange for the above rig let me know. Will also maybe consider a Marshall DBS7152 cab. Pics to follow as soon as my kitten returns my camera memory card! Any questions please ask. Based in Bolton by the way. Cheers
  10. Thats the badboy, cheers mate. Had recent GAS for something like this, just as a change from my 115 and 410 stack. I couldnt do without a 15, just play too bassy n punchy to do without one but do need the tens to help out on the riffs n fills. Looking at these (when i can find one) or the Ashdown ABM effort (BP1510)
  11. Hi guys, a while ago (2 years) i saw a Marshall bass cab on ebay (im sure it was a DBS one). It appeared to be a 1x15 with either 2x10's or 2x8's in one cab. Anyone know what it is? Cant find it on the marshall site or anywhere
  12. Final bump before its put out to graze on fleabay
  13. bump and also to answer a few pm's - this is an English made one (so it says on the back anyway
  14. Out of interest, settings wise on the HA5500 it obviously has the high and low contour, never had an amp with these on before. I cant have a full play round (at volume) till our next rehearsal but what settings on these would you recommend? The sound i have is very deep (almost muddy) and sometimes the highs do suffer for this (amlost silence on riffs/fills etc) so im lookin to obviously smooth this out but i do want the highs to still sound ''bassy'' and ''deep''
  15. i recently acquired a HA5500 and am looking to have it permanently stored in a flight case. Im asuming for this i need rack ears? anyone know where i can source them and any tips on actually flight casing it?
  16. BUMP. Just to clear up ive had a few questions - this is NOT the evo model and my location is Bolton. Unfortunately im unable to travel given to current wheels bein broken (again!). Ebay end of this week if no joy. Still offers round £100

  21. Hi, Im selling my used and gigged Ashdown MAG 300 amp. I bought it a little over 4 months ago from H W Audio in Bolton. It was used then and cost me £170.00. Since ive had it it has been gigged a few times but never really driven. In decent condition exepct for a bit of bobbling on the carpet covering and a few marks on the front (seems someone used a pen to note the settings next to the dials). Ive really not got a clue what these go for on ebay or anything so initially ill say £100 or nearest offer. If more informed people on here think this is way too much let me know. Pics to follow asap
  22. Howard made me a great custom tort plate for my p-bass project. Great comms throughout, very quick turnaround and most of all a cracking new plate!
  23. Would you consider selling the ha3500 alone at all? If so id ber VERY interested
