  1. The early Italian Markbass R500s - are they class D or class A/B?  Mixed messages online from they ARE class D, they ARENT class D to early ones weren't but later ones are!?!?!

I can think of a couple of Markbass models that transitioned from A/B to D Class and the interwebz suggests that happened around 2012, so I wouldn't rule out that if the R500 was in production then it *could* have been included. Again the internet suggests that R500 production ended by 2012, I'd wonder if it remained A/B until being phased out.

Oh and, if it's an early R500, then yes it will have been A/B. - The manual describes the power section as 'analog' which is typical of describing A/B class and for a 500W amp, it's heavier than it's D Class variants, so, all in all, I think it's probably safe to assume an early model is A/B. Lifting the lid on it will also prove it.
