There definitely needs to be more ladies in these lists, gents!
Nicole Row who plays for Panic At The Disco is bloody great. I could mention Tal Wilkenfeld too but she probably gets a lot of attention already…

Cass Lewis
Robert DeLeo

On balanced outputs that are transformer driven (possible with this amp if the signal is taken from the secondary of the output transformer), a TRS will not work if the ring terminal on the input jack on the amp of the amp is not grounded. It depends on the type of input jack, and the way it is wired into the circuit.
Pretty sure this will be the case with the Little Stubby. Proceed with caution!

Looks and sounds nice, but looking it up, I see 2000€. I'm out.
That’s good, I’m out too!

Me too. Uh-oh 😅

This is bloody great! FWIW I prefer the original pickup cover and bridge matching the neck-thru

I was wondering if there was any difference in power section or whether it was as simple as different EQ and features.
TBH I’m not sure what power stage the Original uses; I’d guess it’s the same ICEPower board that the RM500 uses but couldn’t be sure one way or the other.
The Original 300... less sure again but I have a vague recollection that Mark Gooday hinted it WASN’T an ICEPower board for once.

They are a bit of a bargain at the moment, aren’t they?
Yes. My wallet is sweating and it’s not just the heat 😅
PS also contemplating the Pro Neo cabs argh

There’s a demo on the Andertons YouTube channel of the RM and the Original head; my personal feeling is the Original 500 head has a sweeter sounding EQ than the RM but the RM has the drive, sub and compressor which make it more versatile as a standalone head. Depends on how you do all your tone shaping I guess.
If I didn’t already have 3 million amps I’d have an Original 500 as a spare, especially at the current Andertons price.

Airbourne come to mind, shamelessly aping the AC/DC sound.
Greta Van Fleet were accused of being Zep-lite on their first album weren't they...

Good luck in your new home Nik! No words of wisdom from me as I don’t know your area at all I’m afraid

Wish I'd not gone not the Andertons site following this. Lots of other stuff is reduced too, though not as drastic in reduction there is still a lot to cause me pause for thought. Dammit.

It’s a few years ago, but I’m sure I heard mention that Doug Wimbish played some bass on that album?
Yup, I have heard that Doug, and also possibly Guy Pratt, played on his first album?

Massive Seal fan here. The first two albums in particular are just fantastic. Future Love Paradise is one of my favourite songs. In fact Seal’s first is one of the albums I’d most liked to have played on.
Love his first album, not really listened to the second. Will have to take the time to listen! Agree re. Future Love Paradise

This thread has revived at an opportune time... My 80s band wants to start to audition keys players.... Wish me luck! Every keys player I've ever met has had a distinct serial killer vibe.
I know a good keys player / serial killer too. Small world haha

I made the decision after lockdown to be in as many bands as I could feasibly manage, and enjoy all the experiences i could.
All will turn out for the best for you in the end. Keep your options open.
Me too. Current count is 5, none of them are particularly prolific in rehearsing and gigging so I'm not madly busy but I'm covering rock, blues, pop, punk and kids music so can't complain.
Enjoy them all @AndyTravis

I’ve really no idea what will come of this.
I’m also recording with another project now - involving the first drummer the 602 had.
hmm.
Dirty Den.
Lots of bands! Give them all a bit of time and see which one(s) have any staying power?

As an avid Eden fan and having bought an Eden amp needing some surgery I found out that Marshall have sold the Eden brand and UK stock to Gear4Music. Not quite sure what to make of that.......
As in the brand is also owned by G4M or or they sold the brand (to ANOther) and the UK stock to G4M? Sorry for a pedantic question but it may give us a clue to their future!

Watched 5/6 of this tonight. Love it, really cool.
Speaking of the various all-female punk bands, I used to be in a band with one of the Ramonas. I think she hated me for a long time because of the fact I quit that band 😅

I would agree, I've had two basses with Barts and the are lovely, lovely pickups but rude is not a term I'd associate with them.
