  4. Thanks for that, yeah something like the X32 and x2 Red800's in a rack case would be the answer. I will let you's know how l get on! Thanks again for the info, amazing resource the forum!
  5. Yet another theoretical IEM setup question . . Does this exist - digital desk (like the behringer xr18), has 20 XLR inputs AND the same amount as XLR outputs for each channel? Like a mixer / splitter all in one. The thinking is to wheel up at small festivals / gigs and run everything into out desk (controlling our own IEM mixes) but giving the stage the split outputs for the FOH sound. i know this isn’t the norm and we should take a split from them, but some of these small festivals we aren’t sure they have a splitter we can take outputs from. hope that makes sense? Thanks guys

  18. Thanks for the response man, much appreciated! It’s exactly what I am after man & to be honest was hoping existed. Its the half way step to bringing your own engineer with you. Getting self contained and a happy sound we know we can deal with. Hadn't given though to stereo or mono mixes . . Mono would be fine I reckon. Price wise - the XR18 (with router) + splitter & 6 P2’s would fall well under the budget I had in mind. This system would be ideal for now, and tbh the only two requiring wireless wireless would be myself on bass and the lead singer on guitar, both of us use Line6 G90 wireless systems for the guitars. Whats the best app to use with the XR18 + router where band members could tap in and change their mixes? I reckon the festivals we have played in Europe would have accommodated the self contained mix scenario fine, they always request tech specs and I would make sure they knew the set up and what would be expected from that pre hand. May the end of the day we are halving the work they need to do in terms of providing monitors as well. Thanks again for the reply man! I will post up when we get something sorted. Cheers! 🍺
  19. Looking for some BC advice guys! Had a good 30 min read through this thread & although it is an amazing resource I didn’t quite find what I am after. My band are pretty busy these days, original material folk/rock outfit. We play lots of festivals all over Europe throughout the year. The stage sound is pretty hit and miss from festival to festival & after the weekends gig there we have desided we want to try and go for IEM when touring about. I suppose the question I have is what’s the best suited system we can rack mount up in a flight case and take with us (flights, vans) on the road, which will be easy to basically hook into whatever system the festival is using and run out monitoring through Inears. Line up wise we are - Drums, Bass, vocals/guitar, harmonica, mandolin/fiddle & whistle/flute. So looking at 6 systems to be running at the same time. You can see from the line up it’s not industry standard instruments, not that it should matter, but some of the issues we have had with big badass stage monitors feeding back with particular instruments etc has been pretty crap. We also don’t bring our own engineer and relay on the in-house sound crew. Hence why I am thinking a seemless enough system would be best which we will obviously have on our tech spec forwarded to festivals in advance. We have dabbled with our own PA system using IE wired into a multi headphone splitter & it worked fine. Down side was lack of mobility (this would be even more of an issue on larger festival stages & limited Aux channels for independent mixes on our desk. So . . . We are willing to invest a bit in this system, looking something reliable (industry standard maybe?) & portable to take with us on the road. * 5x wireless systems (maybe 6 systems but I am thinking the drummer will be fine hardwired into the headphone splitter for his mix). Worth mentioning some of the guys already own decent custom IEMs for various our work they do, it’s more the systems we need to sort, if they come with decent IE buds then that’s a bonus for spares. Sorry for the long winded blurb! Thanks for taking the time to read it! Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers!
  20. Used but in great condition. Used this with my precision bass for recording work, sounds amazing! The unique way in which the circuit saturates and colours your signal can be used to produce biting clean boosts, subtly coloured and thickened signals with a frayed-at-the-edge quality or – when pushed – an individual sounding overdrive with a fuzzy, fried texture.BC-24V-LTD takes this classic transformer-coupled, discrete Class-A germanium circuit, this time running internally at 24 volts from a standard 9 volt supply. The increased voltage gives extra headroom and a tighter low end – fantastic if you are looking for a little less saturation and grit, but without losing that unique sound of the Broadcast. The BC-24V-LTD also features a three position gain switch offering MID-LOW-HIGH modes. LOW mode, the pedal has most headroom and stays nearly clean across its range, whilst retaining colouration from its germanium circuit and transformer – perfect if you use higher output pickups, baritone, bass or keyboards . The MID mode is voiced to sound and behave as the regular Broadcast – still pretty clean but adding more grit and saturation to the mix. In HIGH mode, as with the regular Broadcast, the BC-24V-LTD heads into overdrive, distortion and fuzz but with a slightly tighter low end. Maximum gain in HIGH mode can be adjusted to taste, using the internal trimmer. SOLD inc UK postage, Bank transfer or PayPal gift please.
