1. Thanks for the replies and views guys! Good for thought! I will post up what the band gets! Cheers
2. Thats what l want to hear mate, cheers for the input.
3. Thanks for the reply dude, Its only the tops that are active . . . the subs are passive and l will need to get a 2k power amp to run them + the Xover (l think). My fault for not listing that on the original post.
4. Bascially the band are after a couple of powered speakers we can move about a bit easier. Here is what we are looking at - JBL PRX715 Active http://www.soundsliv...aker/JBL-PRX715 (1500watt two way) I am thinking these would be good for small/medium pub settings (bass and eletrctric guitars would go through backline only in these settings). Through the tops - x3 Vocals, x1 harmonica, x1 Flute, Acoustic guitar, banjo & maybe some kick. We do have 2 PASSIVE JBL 18" subs (1000watt per side) we can bring out to extend the rig . . . . suppose my question is - l can buy a 2 way active X-Over and a suitable amp to power the bass bins and connect the whole thing up (giving me 4/5K rig). Does the active + passive rig work well? Anyone have any experiance with the active jbl stuff? many thanks!
5. Defo a real one man, we bought all 7 (in boxes from cc music store in Glasgow). I will get some snaps taken and upload them shortly. Cheers

8. Bought this brand new for my studio setup, took it out original box and straight into a gator rack case . . . It has since sat unused. Great piece of kit, but I am down scaling. This was close to £400 when I bought it. Cheapest online is £350. Looking for £250 + postage. Many thanks!
9. Brand new Shure SM58 for sale. Selling some of the bands spare stuff. Have not got the original box anymore, but comes in it's pouch. Literally never left the pouch. £60 posted in the UK. Cheers

14. Cheers for the bump MB1. Prob a bit lighter / more red than Root Beer. I have a bit of cash set aside which I could put towards a trade together with the sabre for a 70's Fender precision. Make me an offer guys!

19. Through the wonderful (though often expensive) world of basschat, I hooked up with Mcnach to sell a bass and get a blast on our two BB2's together! Verdict - I didn't want to play on the combo anymore due to urge I was getting that I need another BB2 cab in my life! Sounded mighty!
