  1. Happy to help, and it's always nice when I stumble across new music that I like. Mark
  2. I'm sure you're aware of the Basschat Marketplace, specifically the Basses for Sale section. It can be a dangerous place to be if you don't have you wallet safely stashed away in a locked box with a lost key. 😂 Mark
  3. Yesterday was the latest Bandcamp Friday. Did anyone buy anything? Let's see your purchases, mine are below. I think 80% of these are from this forum. Mark
  4. I love my Triad 5 Nice to see there's a reverse headstock now too, I asked about this before ordering the above, but nobody replied, I guess now I know why, it was clearly in the works. The bulbous bit of the headstock (the bit at the end) looks larger on the 4-string than it does on my 5-string. Mark
  5. What a wonderful update. Mark
  6. Ah, thanks. Now I have the full name I know who was being spoken about, but only by name, I've never seen his videos so I wouldn’t know he wears a glove. Mark
  7. I have not, but then again I don't know the Scott you are referencing either. Care to enlighten me? Mark
  8. I didn't even know what Focal Dystonia was until I saw this earlier, let alone know that Victor Wooten suffered from it, and seemingly has done for many years. I've been doing quick searches about it and I'm seeing articles and videos from years ago where he's talking about it. I honestly had no idea, and for him to still be able to play like he does, I think that takes immense dedication and self-discipline. Mark
  9. Dude, this was heartbreaking to read. I read the thread for the other (black) bass, and was looking forward to this one, but that sentence sent my heart sinking for you. A wonderful build, that I hope turns up for you soon. Mark
  10. Bloody hell. Twenty grand for a bass. Can you imagine the amount of lego I'd need to buy The Wife if I was to get that? Sheesh. Thankfully I don't like it, so I'm safe. Mark
  11. Number of Strings : 5 Number of Frets : 24 Scale Length : 35" Number of Pickups : 3 Number of Controls (switches/knobs) : 8 (two stacked, 1 switch) Mark
  12. Year Started Playing : '88 (I think) Number of basses : 10 (damn you, BassChat!) Music Theory : -10 Technique : About 3 Groove : Records? Bloody hell my stats are rubbish. Mark
  13. This one even has built-in phantom power. Thanks for sharing this. Mark
