  1. Hi all - please see the attached images, someone is selling these Westone IEMs but they don't know any more about them Are you able to tell the model from these pics? I assume they are the UM2 but not sure... I'm thinking of switching from my Shure 215s to Westone - does anyone have experience of this? Thanks
  2. The second one, try as I might the hole is too small and won’t fit around the ZS10 output tube - and as far as I know they don’t offer this product with any other type fitting
  3. Hi all, hope you can help me and apologies if a similar query has been posted before. I purchased some Comply Professional Series tips for my ZS10s but they don't fit - a huge shame because I got a great seal due to the increased length of the bud Comply Professional series I then got some 500 series tips which do fit the ZS10s but the seal is nowhere near as solid because they are about half the length 500 series Can anyone recommend some long foam isolating tips? I've tried to search for some but most appear the standard length, and there are so many out there I would really appreciate some bass-related recommendations. I have hearing loss (especially at low frequencies) so a good seal is vital Thanks everyone
  4. almost looks like it’s been used upside down/left handed, and that’s the mark from resting the thumb
  5. Another Hagstrom neck crack here, I’m not sure how severe this would be… Hagstrom HB-8
  6. Speak to John at Noiseworks in Coventry. Terrific chap and decades of experience, we’ve used him for years and he sets them up beautifully each time.
  7. Lovely looking thing. I was watching this particular one sell on eBay last month, here is the description from ebay which provides a bit more info, GLWS “A 1980 Aria Pro II bass from the legendary Matsumoku factory. (The serial number beginning with '0' means 1980 production year) This was the time when the Japanese manufacturers were switching from churning out copies, to original designs intended to challenge the established makers head-on. To overcome the perception of Japanese guitars being cheap copies and get some attention from the market, they adopted a simple strategy: absolutely superb build quality. These instruments are renowned for that, and this is an exceptionally well-made bass. Which is really the reason I'm selling it. It's built like a tank and therefore VERY heavy (5.5 Kg) and my poor old back can't really cope with that for long gigs any more. But it plays superbly well, 32" medium scale is very playable, the sound from those custom humbuckers is phenomenal (if you're after those 80s Duran Duran tones, this is for you!), and it's really in superb nick for a 43 year old bass.”
  8. Hi all, title says it all really. I have some Maruszczyk flatwound 4 Medium strings on my medium scale at the moment, but don’t really know if they are high or low tension as I have nothing to compare them with (these are my first set of flatwounds). I do prefer a higher tension string though… Recommendations much appreciated, to fit a fender Coronado:

  10. Hi all, thanks for all the replies. In case anybody re-visits this thread with the same problem, this is what I went for: Kampa Grid Step ...combined with a small retaining strap for extra safety and stability, it looks like this - just the job:
  11. Hi all, I have a TC RS212 which is sort of long and thin (56 x 664 x 498mm). On stage I struggle to hear sometimes, especially when I have to stand too close to the amp due to space constraints on stage etc. Due to the shape of the cab, I'm struggling to find a amp stand which would fit and still be stable. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks all.
