    Thanks! I wasn't too happy with the single coil pickup sound so had a new pickguard made to house a warman dual rail which has a much fatter sound, a reversible mod as I could return it to stock easily.

    Great idea for a thread! I've had a few over the years - mustang PJ, JMJ and a squier musicmaster which I had modified. I fancy a vintera 70s or performer model at some point and I'll be keeping an eye out for used squier antiguas in the future...

    Great bit of kit that lets you play along to songs via bluetooth. My presets are on it but you can get the free app to make your own sounds. I've had this for years and battery life isn't great anymore at around half an hour - I tend to use at my desk and keep it plugged into the USB output of my laptop for power.     There's a hondo version of a danelectro longhorn for sale on here for a decent price (not mine!) - it's a 34" P bass but with a very different shape!

    Love the (Beatnik?) Burgundy. As a serial Dano owner (3x longhorns and one '56), I totally get it! Haven't tried a 34" Dano yet though...

It’s been routed for a Musicman pickup at the bridge by the bass doc and has been professionally refinished in sherwood green nitro over the original arctic white. It’s been gigged a lot so is actually ‘road worn’ and has also taken a big knock so has a crack in the paint from the MM pickup rout to near the low strap button. I’ve got pickguards and other bits for sale in my other listings.
