1. I'm amazed it's still there! Have a bump!
2. This is a very fine bass with a killer B string. One of the best sounding 5-string basses I know (even with the original Ibanez PU, although it sounds absolutely terrific with a Bartolini soapbar which I later installed into mine). Superb bass for jazz and funk, I can only highly recommend it!
3.
Eighty-odd views and no comments? I'd welcome your observations (with the exception of "too many strings" or "too much money" obviously...) :-)
Well, it's a spectacular bass, that's my 2 cents. I'm a happy 'bergerman myself, I LOVE my L2s and would not sell them for a great deal. They're just so reliable and sound FAT. Besides you can switch PUs easily, in minutes you get a huge variety of sounds, can't do this with other basses. So I can't praise Steinbergers enough, I still think they belong to a league with the mighty alembics. But they're not (yet?) there, in collector's heaven, for whatever reason (some might say it's the material used ... well, blame them...).
4. a very rare bird indeed, a brilliant instrument. the price is no peanuts though.
5.
Hi Mario I can look into it, but you would have to pay the courier cost and also it would be at your risk. John
that's ok. may I ask you to please send me a pm when you know about the costs? thanks a lot. Mario
6. It's a true beauty you have here! I might be interested - but the problem is (since you don't want to send it - which can understand somehow): I'm located in Austria. Any chance? Mario
