I've had a lot of PM's regarding posting, like I said though it's just not possible unfortunately. :(

I would have sold it 3 times over if I could post, sorry that it has to be a local sale.

Why not? It's a very simple process with a tiny bit of effort on the sellers part with packaging. I've never got this when I've seen it from sellers like yourself, I even had an EUB delivered to my door with not a hitch... ;)

Cheers Kev, As well as missing the tone I'm going to miss it hanging next to my P Bass, lovely contrast! I've always found Thumb's to be unique in every way, gutted the body is too small for me :(

The body is too small? I don't get that either?

  2. Followed this thread in awe.

    One word.

    Gumph.

Alright maybe more than one - utterly incredible what a skilled man can do with whatever is lying around, and it surely makes you think about the price some folks charge for a lump of wood with four strings hanging off it........

Jez you are one talented gadgy B)

The most 'successful' (I don't mean commercially) bands I'm in have a dictator who is aware of their strengths and limitations.

His or her judgement is trusted and respected on the stuff they really know about, and the rest of the responsibility is shared.

    Good luck :D

Haha I'm gona need it!! What have I let myself in for?! I'm impressed with the bass for the money, and this one is in mint condition for a used model, but it's much more difficult than I ever imagined  Right hand is not too bad as I have swotted up online for advice, but that neck depth and left hand finger spread required has totally surprised me - not quite 'just a big fretless' as a non bassplayer once described EUB! :o :o

A lot of practise coming up :P

  5. Recently bought an EUB from David. Excellent transaction, bass was in my house in three days at my request. Packaging was absolutely spot on and bass exactly as described. Great guy to deal with, excellent comms.Highly recommended!

  6. I've taken the plunge and finally bought one to mess around with at home - arriving this week and from this very forum. Its black with four strings, and as that's about all I know about EUB's I anticipate the next few weeks and months are going to be interesting as well as challenging  I'm hoping this forum and YouTube will be a big help, wish me luck :D

    I believe it's a Ken Bebensee

It's definitely Robert Hurst on his Ken Bebensee bass.
