1. Save me from my PS3!!!!! My last band stopped abruptly after recording a debut album and starting to get a Buzz around our sound. Our guitarist moved overseas and couldnt find anyone decent enough to replace him. That was a few months ago now and can't find anything decent.....someone must need a decent bassist round my way? I'm mid 30s been playing bass for @ 20 years and singing. Ive been performing live since I was about 8 (youth orchestras and what not) I have transport and a decent backline along with a couple of lovely 5 strings You can check out my last band by visiting www.sachanovak.com (unmastered and not quite complete) or listen to the album previews here http://www.last.fm/music/Sachanovak/Shine Influences: Kerbdog, Deftones, Bush, Foos, QOTSA, Black Sabbath, SOAD etc etc I'm looking to form/join a band preferably with similar likeminded experienced people. Glam/Hair metallers and Ego-maniacs need not apply thanks Ping me a note if you're interested Cheers Nick
 2. Hi all In a bit of a quandry here....should I stay or should I go ...to coin a popular song? I' ve been playing bass for over 20 years now and currently play (and main vox) in an originals rock band called SACHANOVAK SACHANOVAK URL - Tunes and piccies Basically just finished our first CD and vid and our guitarist has told us hes off travelling with his bird ..then moving to Barcelona with her......Lucky boy! Essentially we've been looking for a replacement guitarist, but being a 3 piece( with him sharing some vox) we're struggling to find a decent replacement. Had a few serious enquiries/try outs but none have really been up to it so far.......... So it got me wondering whether there are any other opportunities out there....or whether any of you Basschatters know any guitarist that may be interested and capable enough of filling in. Im based in Cambridge and have transport. Currently play a lovely Stingray 5 through an Aguilar DC500 and Purple Chili 2 x 12 & 1 x 15 cabs As previously mentioned I currently 'do'main vox also so a project requiring backing vox should be no probs. Any ideas then please drop me a PM Cheers Nick

 12.
Lil Bump for the weekday crew
Had a few enquiries about trading. I need the cash for these to pay for the Chilis, so no trades thanks. Now having said that......read below from a genuine request I got through another websit ......words fail me...... ============================== Hi, I was wondering if you were interested in a trade for your bass amp speakers. I have a ride on lawnmower that has not been of use to me since I had a swimming pool installed. I bought the lawnmower for £4300 in 2005 and it has been used maybe only 100 times. I have not had a single fault since ownership. My son has just started to play bass and he has told me he needs some decent speakers. He has been using my marshall amp from the 60s with speakers from my stereo. Please let me know if you are interested. I do not have a trailer but I would be happy to ride the lawnmower too your house, it would have to be done at night time though as it is not legal to do this. Thank you for your time.
