A nice array of Fenders.... Youre missing an Oly White Jazz....My favourite.
The Jazz in the piccture a lakland Jo Osbourne. Beautifull as it is, I think Im one of the few who prefers the precision neck. The oly white jazz looks great though.
I think my next target would have to be either a black and gold precision, I nearly bought the precision special that shockwave was selling a few weeks ago, but it does have that jazz neck, or possibly a surf green one. -
with gold anodised scratchplate, mmm nice
-
does this have the jazz neck or precision neck?
Thanks -
!
Will change the anodised gold pickguard to a 3 ply black one and will definitely change the bridge to a fender deluxe/high mass deluxe.

Hi Andy, do you want to sell the gold anodised pickguard? -
Yes and very nice it is too, thanks to Simon

I bought a musicman 130 head a couple of years ago which arrived with the valves fallen out, and when I pushed them back in, it didnt work. I put a claim in to parcelforce via the seller and they paid for the cost of new valves and a service.

Is anybody interested in trading a CIJ/MIJ 57/62 reissue precision for a g&l tribby 2000.
The tribbie is a blue burst and about a year old. Its had little use and has the normal very minor paying finish marks but apart from that its pretty much in pristine condition.
I already have a red and a white precision so a sunburst or a black would be nice. -
Has anyone used ULTRALIFE lithium batteries? Its claimed they last 5 times longer than normal 9v batts, but I'm sure I heard somewhere that they are marginally larger and might be a bit of a squeeze in some battery compartments
They dont fit in either of my musicmen or the fishman box fitted to my lakland -
No as they have been set to what Lakland recommend and before that, lower than normal.
Did you get it sorted? -
To be honest, I'd rather dip my bollocks in boiling fat than buy a Behringer.
Nice one -
You dont work for Wunjos do you?

A 4 legged hibernating animal that is no longer as common as they used to be.
Im tempted by the black one with the Dark side of the moon prism and colours -
I have a c110 which i use with a mini 4x8 which i use for some smaller gigs, and i have used in the studio and it sounds fine.
Although small, i dont find them the easist to move which is the only reason i dont use it more -
Come on you young fit reggae players ... This plus the £55 quid acoustic 2x15 on eBay right now and you'd have more low vibes than Fambly Man
Has the acoustic gone I cant find it -

I use lotus organiser, just because I have for a long time
We have a general agreement, how many we want to do in a week/month, and I book, and its up to the others to tell me well in advance what they cant do in advance, I rarely cancel.
The idea of a shared resource is great, never try to work with more than 1 diary, thats when you get duplications.
I have a standard form i send out with a copy to be sent back

Saves loads of arguments -
...and if you don't like the tone of this, have you considered second hand?
I can do you a great deal on a 700w Peavey Firebass Head and 2x10 cab, only 'cos I like you mind.
Think of the added Kudos
If you sell it you can put ex TBBC on your listing, bound to improve the price -
£170 for an acoustic 220 head and 406 2x15 [eminence] cabinet
Sounds Great, pleanty loud enough for what I want it to do -
Same here, - but I'm often tempted to take an axe to the drumkit, keyboards, lead guitar stack and the single-helix mutant on the PA desk
I might change the axing order but otherwise I agree -
I would never do it [not even to a warwick ]
I saw the who and ritchie blackmore on a number of occasions and what they did do was pretty contrived.
Blackmore pushed stacks of empty Marshalls over, and Townsend swapped guitars for the last number putting down his Rickenbacker and using a Tele or a Strat, or as they did in the us a cheap vox copy.
Theres no doubt in 1966 people used to come and see them just to see if they did trash gear, but its all done to death now.
Even Hendrix spraying his guitar with lighter fuel is pretty crass to me -
When I mounted mine, I bought a generic rack shelf like this one, but a 1U version:

I sat the receiver on top of it, and used a cunning combination of cable ties and electrical tape through the vent holes to hold it in place. It's sat happily in the top of my rack for 3 years and never once thought about coming loose. It also gives you a handy place to anchor cable ties etc to keep the back of your rack tidy, or a space to stick a DI box or other gadgets that take your fancy.

You can always use adhesive backed velcro from maplins for mounting lighter items -
Hi
I want to swap my current rig for a decent portable combo or maybe maybe a single light cab and keep the head. I have an Ashdown Abm 300 Evo 11 head used with 4x8 & 1x15 mini cabs and a Pod XT live for compression, tuning.
I know these are pretty compact and not to heavy at 20 & 30 KG but the old back is a creakin !
Stealth
I downsized from a combo to pretty much this combination. There is some advantage in the 1 box with everything but they are heavy.
I had an eden Metro, Crez is selling one in amps for sale, and If I could lift it, I would have another one.
I would be very tempted to try a compact with the ashdown

thats it really.just wanted to share my feelings.
Ive had that feeling twice, bought one each time, and sold them on because I couldnt get on with them. They are a fantastic guitar, I used to just look at the fireglow one it looked so nice.
I think its a bass you either like, or your dont. I didnt like the neck, and I found it uncomfortable to play.
Try before you buy
