1. nearrrllllly finished!....... just waiting for the other pickup which had to be returned due to a finger print cast into the casing or this way up depending on your outlook....... very pleased with the way its turned out
2. some photos just came through: Most of the wood work is done. Fret work and final sanding is being done tomorrow, then the first coat of oil. Pickups also arrive tomorrow.
3.
Gorgeous mate Last weekend has not helped my ACG GAS one bit and you're not helping much either Not long now, you must be excited... Eude
Haa, I keep having a peak at the pictures of your finn s/c and that's not helping me much either! Very excited. Just started reading up on the pre-amp and its suddenly occured to me just how many sounds I should be able to get out of it, especially with the coil switching in both magnetic pups, and then there's the piezo also! Hours of fun!
4.
I'm pretty certain I saw this one when I was up in Alan's workshop speccing my fifth and sixth ACGs last weekend. Looked very nice indeed.
awesome! 5th and 6th wow, they must be as good as I'm anticipating mine being! Alan did me this pic just so I could see how it's gonna look in terms of layout, these aren't the pickups or ramp going into the bass, its just for representation. also shows the neck glued in
5. you're really selling it! however.... I really am just looking for a P, or the cash to buy a P Sorry
6. UPDATE: I think I may know where the cover is! Will have a look and keep you updated. Thanks
7. Hey guys, I have an immaculate Peavey Cirrus BXP 4 (Bubinga Top), that gets no use. I'd say that this bass is in 98.5% as new condition. The only thing wrong is it's missing the truss rod cover on the headstock (can't find it anywhere), sure Peavey would sort you out with a replacement for a few pence if it really bothers you! The bass is £340 new, I'd like it to go for £250 (saving nearly 100 quid on a bass thats nearly exact to one out of the shop!) Let me know if anyones interested and I'll sort you out with some pics or any extra info you need Thanks Rich Coughlan
8. on a straight sale I'd probably be asking for around £440 for her They are £600 new, and to be honest it plays and sounds as new. Has had a really nice set up by Mo Clifton (http://www.cliftonbasses.co.uk/) Just to give you some info on condition. The bass has been gigged for around a year on and off. Consequently it has one or two very minor knocks. Strings are dead as the bass hasn't been used in the last 6 months. There is a little rust on the top of the bridge pickup poles, but this doesn't affect the sound at all, and is very common on Fenders after a couple of years as I'm sure you know. One thing I have just realised is the strap button is missing! No idea whats happened there, but I could easily get a replacement and glue it in (something I find I always have to do with Fenders) What are your thoughts anyone interested in straight sale?
9. replied. joe: would prefer to trade to be honest, just really after a p-bass but if no one fancies trading for it, may consider just flogging it. will keep you posted mate
10. Hey guys, I have a 2005/06 Mexican 5 string Fender Jazz (in all black) Doesn't get any use as I bought an American equivalent also. Would really like a P-bass, be it a mexican, copy, or a vintage american if your feeling generous..... Does any one fancy a trade?? The bass is in great condition, and pretty much grooves without touching it! Here is a quick picture I just took on the phone. If anyones interested or has anything to offer, please get in touch! Cheers, Rich Coughlan
11. neck currently being glued in.... pickups are gonna be a pretty snug fit due to the 26 frets, but will just about fit! very pleased with the way its turning out

15.
Presumably you mean Bass Guitar Magazine, not Bass Player..?
you're very correct! BGM not Bass Player (The one with Zender!) cheers Yorick!
16. Hey guys I live in Central London and need to pick up a copy of Bass Player Magazine (Issue 50) Just wondering if anyones seen it around in any shops?? Im after it for the 'Style Files' transcription by Dave Marks. If anyones got the issue, and wouldn't mind doing me a cheeky scan of this transcription?......... I would then give a donation to Dave on his website for the cost of the magazine to make things fair Thanks Rich Coughan

Hey guys, Im after an OC-2, but after reading countless sites, mostly contradicting each other, I still don't know what the differences are between the 3 versions of this pedal ( i think there are 3! ) Does anyone have any experience with these pedals? Do any particular ones have a better reputation for build quality etc? (Anyone want to sell me theres ) Any words of wisdom would be great Cheers Rich
