1. Time to let 'old faithful' go. 210 watts (thru' 1 x 15" Black Widow) of window cracking power, easily keeps up with any drummer, fills pubs and small clubs. Very good condition, never let me down yet. I added a 4ohm extension cab (this brings her up to 300watts) recently for fun and believe me, you don't need it ! You know what one looks like but if you want a pic, I'll put one up. I'm looking for £150 Earth Pounds although I'm open to offers. I'm only letting it go 'cos I'm upgrading and need the cash to stop the wife moaning.
2. Hi, I'm after the cab. Please check your mail. Ta.
3. Hi mate, This has been up before, how come no-one has gone for such a bargain ? What's wrong with it apart from being tatty ? I'd like to hear it, have you got any gear to play thru' it ?
4. My recently acquired ESP (LTD) B-55 tone control doesn't seem to be of the 'normal' variety. It dulls down quite well until about 20% from the end but then drops the volume down to almost nil when fully off. What's the prob ?
5. Just aquired a used ESP B-55 and although a very playable guitar, the tone control appears to do it's job except that the last 20% towards 'dull' takes the volume down until it's nearly off. Everything looks okay electrics-wise and I've even compared it to a Precision Special wiring diagram which seems the same. It's not really a problem, but just odd. Any ideas ?
6.
Sorry littlewing it's all kinds of mine
Oi, zapp ! Put it up as sold then old chap ! Peace and love. LOL !!!
7. Hi mate, Is the stompbox still up for grabs ? I'll have it if so. Pete.
8.
Thats not how to do impedance (not ohmage, although it is measured in ohms) calculations, Bottom half of wiki You end up with about 2.67 ohms, if you connect an 8 and a 4 in paralell (the usual way) adding in paralell will only decrease the impedance no matter how high an impedance you are adding. At a guess, the amp has a 8 ohm speaker in it, and a second 8ohm would give you the 4 it is happy with, that's usual.
Ah, okay, my bad! The combo is loaded with a 4ohm Black Widow. Will this still be okay with an 8 ohm in parallel?
9. Hey chaps, I have a Peavey 300 bass combo and would like to run an extension cab from it. It says to use another 4 ohm cab but I have access to an 8 ohm 1 x 15". Can I use it without any ill effects to the Peavey? I'm probably wrong but I think it will be 6 ohms ( 4 + 8 divided by two ). I run it at present with the master on full and only about 4 on the pre-gain so it won't be working too hard.

I'm playing more bass now than rhythm and lead and am looking towards a stomp box and wondered (without being a bit Homer Simpson) if I can play bass thru' my Boss ME-50 without it throwing a wobbly ? If so, why make a bass version of the box ?
11. Hey chaps, Any ideas for restoring a tired looking cabinet without recovering with new vinyl? I thought about black vinyl paint either brush or spray for car bumpers.
12.
offers ??
Hi mate, Still for sale ? What will you let it go for? I'm down New Forest. Could meet for deal.
13. I've just started playing again after a long boring break. My question is I'm working with some guys who tune down to drop D with a C bottom. Which strings, guage, (round or flat) would be best sounding and not go too floppy without having to go too high action? Also, which would stay 'alive' longest as I always have the bottom E (C in this case) dying off in no time?
