I've had my ten year old ray for a few months now and love it, the actives were working fine so I have never felt the need to look at the battery until an hour ago, and I had a problem getting the battery out, it needed some persuasion with a plumbers wrench before it came out. The negative terminal is a bit corroded and green on the battery, ive fitted a new battery and its all working fine, should i replace the battery holder on the guitar and if so is it an easy job? G...

Well I bought mine a few months ago now and to be honest it was a slow grower, played my jazz more to begin with and even thought of passing it on, but love it now and play it almost exclusivly. I might even buy another when funds allow, fancy a natural one... hmmm!!

I had never used them before, but tried them when I bought my ray, liked them a lot and went and fitted them to my jazz as well... G...

Just got a bargain Tokai bass (EB3 style) at a closing down sale, bought it untried and was delighted when I found id bought a very playable and great sounding bass, my only small gripe is its lack of scratchplate, anyone know who supplies these for gibsons (or tokai obviously)... G...

I havent gigged in a while and my current band is just about up to speed, we should be gig ready in a couple of months... We'll be playing blues/rock covers in pubs and I need a new amp, I think a combo is the way to go. I'd like something compact and lightish with enough power to cover most gigs, it needs to be able to deal with my active stingray and passive jazz and be sub £1000... Help G...

Not 100% sure I like the white scratchplate on it... any thoughts? would black or tort/shell look better? And what is that colour called? its like a tabacco s/burst. G...
