Low end lobster on you tube has an updated video using Labella MUS flats. Perfect for the rascal he says

Sounds really nice with the flats- it’s a great short scale sound on a normal scale bass

How do they sound? Assuming you've put them on yet! And what length did you go for? I was wondering if the Mustang ones would work, but not got as far as actually measuring the string length yet!

I went for the Mustang ones but haven’t put them in yet- week from hell

  3. Pedals to keep you tickled for a time or maybe forever

The Echorec, Phaser and Flanger were bought for a project that didn’t happen- they are minty mint- maybe some velcro

    Anyway

    Boss CS-3 £60

    Catalinbread Echorec- £150

    MXR Phase 90 Script - £80

    MXR M117 R Flanger - £150

    Thanks

    Dave

It was a Musicmaster I had. It all felt a bit too small. My worry is that the frets will feel too close together, and the position of the bridge is where I would normally put my hand on the likes of a P.

I have to say that you automatically do that so you have to play a lot closer to the neck to avoid doing so repetitively and weirdly it then feels more like a short scale
