1.
Band rehearsal and audition for new drummer in our thrash band. Three or four songs had been chosen a week or so in advance. Me: "Right, let's rock out with Master of Puppets." Guitarist: "Yeah!!!" Drummer: "I don't know it. How does it go?" No lie.
Isn't that like illegal for a thrash drummer?
 2. I dunno if you're a fan, but Carcass and Trivium use a lot of standard B tuning. It's also pretty easy to transcribe Machine Head songs like Halo into B standard.

 4.
Either that or Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now was his most interesting Smiths stuff, IMO.
My personal faves of his are These Things Take Time and You've Got Everything Now
 5. Do you think that'll be loud enough for your needs? Well I guess you can get away with gigging with pretty much any bass amp thesedays thanks to PA support
 6. Hardly anyone has been rated above 5. People are probs giving them 1 if they've never heard of them. Also, Rob Trujilo didn't play bass on St. Anger, Bob Rock did. So it seems a bit ignorant of them to put his greatest bassline as Some Kind Of Monster (it should clearly be a Suicidal Tendencies/Infectious Grooves song anyway)
 7. This combo isn't reallly 300w like the seller claims it to be. I've got the same amp head on my Trace Combo (GP7SM 130), and that is only 130w RMS and 260w peak. You can actually see the '130' in the pics of the combo. Only difference with this and mine is that mine only has a 10" speaker, whereas this one has a 15". Regardless, it is still an awesome amp, and I would recommend it.
 8. OHHHHHHHHHHH those kind of racks... Dammit
 9.
There's one bass sound (that's used a couple of times) on Renegades that sounds like he's deffinitely torn a speaker. It's amazing!!! Battle of LA is a great album, but the more I listen to it, the more I think it's a bit "over produced".
It's kind of hard for Rage Against The Machine to be overproduced, as all the sounds in their music just come from vocals, guitar, drums and bass. I love the sound of Battle For Los Angeles, sounds pretty raw and energetic if you ask me (which noone is )
 10.
i absolutely love evil empire. roll right, wind below, bulls on parade apparently theres a bass solo after the 2nd chorus (2:20-ish) but i can't hear it on my speakers
It's not really a bass solo, he just starts playing a few fills in a bit higher register by the sounds of things
 11. My basses: ^Washburn XB125 5 string bass This bass was such a bargain. So fun to play, and can do everything I could possibly want a bass to do. ^Westone Thunder Jet Bass An awesome bass that I pull out when I need that P-bass tone Sorry for the abundance of pictures, I just couldnt take good ones, and couldnt choose which ones were best
 12. My rig: ^Trace Elliot GP7SM 130 My main gigging amp, love it to bits. ^Marshall MB15 I use this for rehearsals with my band. I use it for this as it is far more portable than my Trace. Despite being only 15 watts, it's loud enough to play with a drummer and 2 guitarists.
 13.
I don't like the feedback profile of the seller - anone else think this may be a scam?
The seller has a 100% positive feedback rating apparently
 14. I wouldn't worry about recording music if I was on a desert island
 15.
That's a different amp mate. This is the Cube This is the Micro Cube
I thought it was just the same model but with 30watts instead. Doesn't it have all the same features?
 16. Where are you based? http://newcastle.gumtree.com/newcastle/66/39630566.html

 19.
Hey everyone I'm Tim and looking to form/join (if you want me to join a band don't bother with the stuff below) a metal/emo band in Reading/Henley inspried by Marilyn Manson, Lamb of God, Bullet For My Valentine, Escape the Fate, would like to play most songs in drop D but I don't mind playing in CGCFAD, singer must be able to roar/scream, drummer should be experienced and can use double bass pedal, guitarist needs to be able to do some simple solos not much harder than some Green Day solos, any one wishing to join must be aged 13-16, I am also willing to have 2 guitarists. My E-mail is [email protected] Looking forward to playing with you.
Good luck finding drummers and vocalists in the Berkshire area
 20.
I've had the Marshall and the Ashdown I've also used the Line 6. IMO the Ashdown has the best clean tone but the Line 6 has more features. A lot of people rave about these.
What did you think of the Marshall?
 21. I'd recommend the Marshall MB15, one of the cheapest practice amps around, comes with some great features and is quite loud for 15 watts (and it's a Marshall!). However, the Line 6 Lowdown 15 looks great, with all the amp models.
 22.
Seriously - this is a silly bargain, it'll cost £12 to post it. Jon.
It's a good idea, but I would rather not undergo the hassle of posting the bass if I'm honest
 23.
Finally, I'm sorry mate, but "better than nothing" is not the sort of philosophy I can tolerate. If you're going to do something, do it f*****g properly, or not at all. "better than nothing" is a disease. It is not something to aspire to.
Loosely reminds me of the old 'theory': "Nothing is better than God. A rat on a stick is better than nothing. Therefore a rat on a stick is better than God." But in this case, replace the words "God" with "Bass Guitar Magazine". Ok, I guess that doesn't work as well as I first thought (you would first have to agree that nothing is better than Bass Guitar Magazine, which is kinda true, as there aren't any other bass magazines, but still) Sorry if any offence has been caused.
 24.
Can you spell it out?
Do I really have to?
Still, better than a group of 12 year olds watching a rated R film, no?
Tbh, there's not much wrong with that.
