    Love the colour

Me too, I'm still undecided on the neck and my well swap it out at some point assuming it's a standard sized neck pocket.

  2. I happened to pass by Rough Trade East on Saturday morning and couldn't believe the size of the queue! here's a few phone pics of it, you'd have to pay me good money to wait in that.

I used my new MIJ Mustang at rehearsal last night. Sounded great though a couple of buts. First I need to get some Ultralite tuners as it was dragging a bit on my shoulder towards the end. Second I really need to put some hours in on the thinner neck, on the more complicated parts of songs my fingers were falling over each other. For years I’ve played Precisions so am used to the wider necks, just got to get used to it which means hours & hours of playing - not a bad thing at all imo.

If you do change the tuners for Ultralites, I could be interested in the JMJ ones for my Squier if you were to move them on. I do have a soft spot for lollipop tuners.

  4. Owned by me from new and has served me very well over the years, I'm only changing it as I find myself needing a separate volume control for the headphone socket.

It's in great condition, the sale is for the unit only, no box, cables, manuals....

£38.00 £35.00 including delivery to mainland UK

    PICS HERE

If there's no interest I'll stick it up on eBay on Sunday.

  5. Picked this B stock Andertons own brand Strat up just before Christmas as it was an easy way to get a white body for a project guitar but I'm having second thoughts as it's rather good! I find myself playing it more than any of my more expensive guitars.

I'll change the strings and put some Lemon Oil on the rather dry (12" radius) fretboard and live with it as is for now.

Amazing what you can find for little money these days.

Excuse the window reflections in the main head on pic.

  6. I picked up a pearloid scratchplate for my Squier Classic Vibe Mustang and whilst fitting it this afternoon I found this mess under the pickup! Silicone sealer holding what appears to be a magnet or plate and some bolts for the mounting screws, I can't seem to find a picture of the underside o f the standard pickup but I'm pretty sure the bolts and plate are additions? I'm not too fussed as the bass sounds very good indeed, I just re-soldered a couple of bits and put it back together for now.

A very nice, free Spring Reverb from 'Klanghelm'. It's a direct download, no email address or sign up required. Also, not a download manager in sight.

    👍:D

Thanks for the heads up, I've just downloaded their free saturation plugin IVGI and I'll give it a try later.
