    I have just bought an SWR SM 500 head. It will run at 500watts @ 4 ohms in mono/bridges mode or 250 watts per channel @ 4 ohms per channel in stereo mode. Does operating it in stereo reduce the volume or is it essentially the same. Thanks.

    I ran a Triad with a Redhead - sounds awesome, the whole range is covered and it sounds as good at the back of a hall as the front. Go for it fella!

    I am looking for a SWR Goliath Jnr 2 x 10 111 or 1V at 4 ohms to run with another one I already have to be powered by a EBS TD660. They seem to be few and far between - lots available at 8 ohms though

    Hi, I have a question hopefully someone in basschat land can help with. I have a 4 ohm 2 x 10 cab and want to get another. However the only ones that seem to be on the market at the moment are 8 ohms. If I went ahead and purchased an 8 ohm speaker could I run it with the 4 ohm speaker. What would be the resulting collective impedence and would I need to connect them to the amp in series or parallel or does this matter at all? Thanks in advance Steve

    Hi Marcus, thanks for the note. I would take you up on the offer but I am at the other end of the country so collection would be a challenge. I'm really looking for something compact but may be tempted. Let me know if you have a miricle solution. What do you recon to the Sadowsky, I have just bought a NYC Vintage 5 - love it more than the missus. Steve
