1. Hi everyone, I have 4 sets of 6 string bass strings for sale. 3 sets of Ernie Ball Slinky 2838 (32-130) and 1 set of Rotosound RS666LD (35-130). They were bought because I was to explore different manufacturers as I couldn't get a steady supply of my main LaBella strings, but that has now been rectified so these are surplus to requirements. I am looking for £15.00 per set which I think is a great price for these and I'll post for free too They are completely new and are just sitting here, so get in touch and I'll get them to whoever wants them ASAP. Thanks for reading and take care. Cheers, Matt
2. Hi BC chatters, just to let you know I have an MXR M-80 D.I.+ pedal up for sale. It is fully boxed and has been used live and in my studio but is in mint condition. I have decided to change my live rig around and employ some different pedals, so this is now, unfortunately, surplus to requirements. I paid £120.00 for it new and am only looking for £60 plus P&P (around £5.00). This really is an awesome all round pedal. If I wasn't looking at new FX etc, I would definitely have kept it. Here is what MXR say about it - "Finally, all the essentials in one tough little box, You need a serious D.I. for playing live and laying down killer tracks. You've got to have a preamp and finely tuned EQ to add punch to your tones. And you definitely can't do without some rich, custom distortion. This one-of-a-kind pedal gives you the whole deal in a bomb-proof enclosure that will survive even the most out of control gigs-and players. Built with the highest quality components, the M-80 can give you eve everything from warmth and transparency to a volcanic roar, without making you scroll through menu screens or an indecipherable manual. Engage the color switch for some sweet preset EQ, then tweak your tone with three band control. Dial in your ideal distortion with the gain knob and blend just the right amount into your clean signal, then kick it on and off at will. The adjustable noise gate pours on the sustain and cuts out hum and hiss. With XLR and parallel 1/4" outputs and a phantom power switch, you'll never have a problem delivering your choice new tones. Power: Single 9-volt battery or Dunlop ECB-003 AC Adapter - Controls: Effect Footswitch toggles Effects on/Bypass (red LED Indicates on) Distortion Footswitch toggles Distortion channel in/out (Distortion LED indicates Distortion level active) Bass/Mid/Treb EQ knobs allow Clean and Distortion tone fine-tuning Color switch activates a pre-set EQ optimized for bass Clean Volume knob adjusts output level of Clean channel (Effect footswitch on and Distortion footswitch off) - The following knobs are only active when Distortion channel is selected: Distortion Volume knob adjusts overall output level Blend knob controls the mix between distorted/clean signal Gate Trigger knob sets the noise floor threshold, or sensitivity, of the Noise Gate Gate switch selects Noise Gate In/Out Gain knob sets distortion level Phantom/Ground switch selects between Direct Output Ground Lift (switch up) and Phantom Power (switch depressed)" Thanks for reading and take care. Any questions, just get in touch
3. I can't believe this is still here - I wish I had the money for this. Have a Sunday BUMP
4. What an incredible bass. I have been so interested in these basses since they first came on the market but have never found one to try. I am a 6 stringer and have settled on my beloved Yamaha TRB basses but a few months ago, I thought I would try something different and bought a Bongo 6 which played beautifully but didn't have the modern sound that my Yamaha's have, which I totally get. Anyway, it had to go so I wonder if the Fender might have the same issues with regards the pre-amp sound. Also, is the board radius flat or curved like the Precision and Jazz basses. What is the string spacing too? Sorry for all the questions but I am so intrigued by this bass. Good luck with the sale and if I had the money I would give this a go for sure. I watch with interest

7.
Yeah... some one really needs to buy this before I shoot myself ... is there any one that you want taken care of for a certain shiny 6 string fee?
Lol Let's chat..... Thank you and why not buy it yourself?
8. OK, I'm going to go a bit bonkers here, but does anyone fancy this for a silly price? £1300? Seriously, never been gigged, never been out of the house and still has the bar code sticker on the back. That has to be a good deal, surely? Let me know, it's here waiting for the right home.......
9. Tuesday morning bump
10.
would you consider a trade for a sexy 5string, or are your a 6er-only type of guy?
Hi Phil, Thanks for the offer but I am 6 string guy. I really need a back up to my main Yamaha as we have a lot of touring coming up - just got back from the first leg of this tour today. I desperately want another TRB, so thanks again for the offer. Take care. Cheers, Matt
11. Bumpity Bump Someone make me an offer if they are interested. I'm open to it as this can't stay just sitting here, a waste of a beautiful bass.
12. Sunday morning BUMP Have a wonderful day and please give this bass a new home. A silly price for a beautiful and unused bass. Cheers.
13. THIS IS BACK UP FOR SALE OR TRADE AS THE ONE THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN UNFORTUNATELY FELL THROUGH AND NOT DUE TO ANYBODY'S FAULT. JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS. SO, HERE IT AGAIN.
14. TRADED FOR TRB6P.
15. BUMP of the day for a stunning new Bongo bass that needs a good home
16.
Biggest regret of my Basschat career...selling a Bongo HH.
I am genuinely gutted Andy but it's not doing what I need it to do. It is one of the finest basses I have ever played, seriously (plus it's a stunner) and I know I am going to regret it but I need the right bass for my gig and this isn't it I wish it was!!
17.
*drools
It is beautiful isn't it lol
18.
PMd! I have a TRB6P.... Ben (edited for typo!)
PM'd back my friend and understood about the typo
19. I cannot believe this is happening to me, but I bought a beautiful Musicman Bongo 6 HH (in red) bass 3 weeks ago and totally fell in love with it. The feel, the looks and the sound but, it's not the sound that is right for my band and music. I have been playing Yamaha TRB6 basses for years but when the Bongo was launched I had to have one. I am now about to go on tour and have resorted back to my Yamaha but I don't want the Bongo sat around. I paid £1899.00 and will be looking for either - 1) A trade for a good condition Yamaha TRB6P (not a TRB6 JP) and small cash adjustment depending on the condition of the bass. or 2) A trade for a good condition Yamaha TRB6 and cash adjustment. or 3) £1450.00 straight cash deal. I am absolutely gutted about this but I know what I need and this has to go. This bass has never been used in rehearsals or live or been out of the house and is in 100% new condition with Musicman case, which is also in immaculate condition. Hopefully hear from someone soon and for it to find the right home. If you want anymore information, just get in touch and I'll help in anyway I can. Thanks. Here are some pictures.
20.
Just bought Matts' TRB6 JP. Matt's an absolute gentleman to deal with, showing exemplary patience with me as I bumbled through the UKs' internet banking system...... Ignore an opportunity to trade with this man at your peril! Many thanks my friend!
Thank you my friend and the it was an absolute pleasure dealing with you too. Honest every step of the way. The same applies, if you have a chance to deal with Grahame, do it! Take care and thanks again. Cheers, Matt

24. Good afternoon all on this rather beautiful day. Well, the time was right, so I bought a Musicman Bongo 6 which I have been after for ages. It was my birthday Saturday and as a treat to myself, I bought the Bongo. Therefore, I am now slimming down my collection to make room for this. My main live bass is my black TRB6, which I will never sell, but the Yamaha TRB6 JP (series 1) has to go. I have never played it live, it has only ever been used in my studio. I am sorry to see it go, but I need 2 basses to take out live and the TRB6 JP is just too beautiful to risk damaging in a rock and roll band. Anyway, enough of my waffle. This is in beautiful condition and has recently been set up by my guitar tech, who is simply a genius. The action is quite low but not too low and plays like an absolute angel. I have a few pictures, which I have attached here, but if you want anymore, just let me know and I'll sort it out for you. Because I'm in an extremely brilliant mood as well and happy with my new gear, I have decided to let this go for a very silly price. Are you ready? £1000 ovno. No trades please The bass is currently in a flight case and I will sell that separately for £90.00 or, you can use your own case if you want. I would prefer collection if possible for obvious reasons, but I am prepared to meet within a 100 mile radius of me (Cardiff based) or get the bass delivered by courier at the buyers expense. This is a real gem of a bass and so hard to find these days. If you want any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch and I will do all I can to help. Thanks for reading and hopefully hear from you soon. Take care. Cheers, Matt
