SOLD

weekend bump - any other interest????
2. Hi Alan... thanks for your enquiry! My main current gig is with a function band, ranging from a 5 to 9 piece with guitar and 3 brass... our drummer can be loud when he wants to be and to date i have not had any problems with getting the volume i need... We do DI and i wedge the combo back to use as foldback, but i often hear in smaller venues that the sound guy has taken the bass out of the PA because these combos carry... they seem to be able to fill venues easily! Inregards to adding another cab... i havent done so as the combo met my needs, but from what people have said, adding one really creates the rig of doom! I play 5 string and havent had any issues with getting enough bottom end, even with the 2 x 10's... and i rarely see the master past 9 or 10 o clock - loads of power there... I do really like this combo, and im happy to stay with it, its just i had an EBS rig for 3 years and LOVED the sound... but couldnt cope with 2 cabs and a head - this is a great solution, but as i tend to want that funkier middy kind of sound which EBS is superb for, the MarkBass loses on this front - but for soul / rock and more vintage sounds - the Mark Bass kicks ass! This is merely my opinion and dont wanna turn this thread into an EBS / MarkBass discussion!! Anyway... hope this helps. Im confident whoever it goes to, it will make a happy buyer.
Hi, I could be interested in this, as an ageing player I am looking to move to a lighter weight option! I currently play in a covers band with a guitarist and (loud) drummer. Most of our gigs our in pubs though and my current set up is an Ashdown 180 EB driving two x 15 inch cabs. What sort of band are you in, do you find the Markbass combo is loud and punchy enough? Alan.
3. Price drop from £700 to £600!!! Willing to listen to offers on this - looking for around the low £600 range but will look at any offers within reason!! Hi everyone... im putting out the feelers in that im interested in selling my MarkBass CMD 102P Bass combo... Excellent little package, loud enough, lightweight, wedge-able (kickback style) and looks great with the orange and black styling... This is the version 1 model and i paid £850 from my local music shop about 2 months ago... to be honest, i had an EBS rig before this and i downsized to a small combo - so i purchased this blind on a recommendation. I wasnt dissapointed in anyway, punchy, loud, and you can get that great rock sound using the filters... its just that i prefer the cleaner funkier sound of EBS... i dont want to make too big a loss on this - i can carry on using this and will be perfectly happy, but if the right deal comes along then im interested. Am looking for around the low £600 range for this beauty... as i say, its pretty much as new - still have the inspection label attached! Will look at trades... only interested in small, lightweight powerful combos similar to the markbass... EBS, GenzBenz etc etc... Get in contact - look forward to hearing from you! i have attached a stock photo - mine aint no different, as new etc, and you can find more info here: http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/cmd-102p/11978 and check out GAK's price!!

SOLD

Bought on Basschat a few months ago for £160... this Floor Pod XT live is in very good condition and perfect working order - no obvious marks or scratches, well looked after and comes complete with power supply, manual and Line6 bag (a little dirty but hey - its doing it job!) Look here for specs and details: http://uk.line6.com/basspodxtlive/ I purchased as the band were going backline-less, they have now gone off that idea so this is surplus to requirements and i want to buy other stuff so it has to go. Am looking just to get my money back on this, although i may listen to offers, trades etc but i wont let this go for a song (not even a Beatles original) - for some reason i cant find the original post so will get photos up asap... Can collect or postage will be £15 by insured courier.
5. Due to lack of use... am selling my Yamaha MG16FX Mixer - in excellent condition, bought for a show, used for that and a couple of other gigs and thats it! 10 mic inputs: 1-8 are mono, 9-12 are stereo but can be used as mono and have mic inputs, 13-16 are stereo inputs. Built in FX, aux send and returns, global eq for stereo master, 3 band channel eq with swept mid, stereo output and 4 sub group outputs... have a look here: http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/produ...ixer?sku=630051 for more specs, manual links and some reviews. Considering the package cost over £270 (mixer was £220 new and the bag was £50) i am looking for offers in the region of £175... can be posted for £15 insured courier delivery....
6. Bought as mainly a backup but a new G&L has enetered my life and as i dont like keeping basses around which i dont use... it has to go! (Also need some new fencing but thats another matter!) Anyway - will get some pics up asap but doing this from work so have just included stock pics for now... Its only a few months old bought at my local music shop for £260... am looking for offers in the region of £180, a lot of bass for not much money. In all black (as per the pic) with active pickups and slap switch, matching headstock, ebanol fingerboard - this is ideal for someone who wants to give 5 string a shot without breaking the bank. Anyway, the rest is pretty explanatory - postage will be £15 unless you want to collect from the Great Yarmouth area. ATB

13. hi all.... due to a change in band setup and going completely backline-less.... i am gonna sell my luvverly EBS rig as i need to fund other purchases... The cabs have gone and only have the amp head left so its gotta go! EBS HD350 head - in excellent condition and to be honest, not much use - bought for £875 from GB guitars in Brighton (as were the cabs..) A wonderfully transparent amp, loads of controls and tons of headroom, and one of the best and most musical compressors i have heard on a bass amp! loads of features... can power active basses through a balanced cable, tube drive emulation etc etc To be honest... i loved this rig, i recently spent nearly 3 grand on a bass and i love the way the amp allows the sound of the bass to come through with colouration... unlike many other amps - i have owned an SWR super redhead and an ashdown abm combo and the bass always comes out coloured by the amp... but this isnt the case with EBS. I caught Mike Stern live in NYC a year or so ago, and Victor Bailey had a HD350 running into a proline cab - 'nuff said! As i say, im only selling as my band are moving towards IEM and getting rid of backline.... and i dont want to have this sitting around doing nothing. Feel free to inspect and try before you buy - am in the Great Yarmouth area on the east coast. Current retail (take at look at the Gallery website...) is about £900 for the HD350... its in excellent condition and the amp had a recent clean by a local technician (mostly just the fan where it collects dust..) Am looking for somewhere in the region of £500 for the amp... but am open to offers. Postage will be £15 by courier and it will be well packed. Feel free to email or PM enquiries... ATB!

16. Any interest in the amp???? Willing to listen to offers... hi all.... due to a change in band setup and going completely backline-less.... i am gonna sell my luvverly EBS rig as i need to fund other purchases... Consists of a EBS HD350 head - in excellent condition and to be honest, not much use - bought for £875 from GB guitars in Brighton (as were the cabs..) A wonderfully transparent amp, loads of controls and tons of headroom, and one of the best and most musical compressors i have heard on a bass amp! loads of features... can power active basses through a balanced cable, tube drive emulation etc etc Also, 1 EBS Neo 1 x 12 bass cabinet - small and compact with handles giving a slight tiltback option... The best thing about this rig is the versatility, although small, these cabs take my low B with no problems and can be unbelievably loud and clear for such small cabs... i got fed up lugging large heavy stuff around so these were a joy as as well as being small, they are also very light in weight! i used to carry a cab in each hand using the handles! To be honest... i LOVE this rig, i recently spent nearly 3 grand on a bass and i love the way the amp allows the sound of the bass to come through with colouration... unlike many other amps - i have owned an SWR super redhead and an ashdown abm combo and the bass always comes out coloured by the amp... but this isnt the case with EBS. Feel free to inspect and try before you buy - am in the Great Yarmouth area on the east coast. Current retail (take at look at the Gallery website...) is about £900 for the HD350 and £500 for the Cabinet... both are in excellent condition and the amp had a recent clean by a local technician (mostly just the fan where it collects dust..) and i am looking for £550 for the amp and £275 for the cab... although i am open to offers for both items so do give me an email and we can discuss.... ATB!
17. i wasnt aware that was such a silly offer!?!? i didnt mean £150 including postage... i did mean £150 for the pedal and i would pay postage on top of that... has there been some crossed wires here??? didnt mean to offend...
18. afraid not... sorry about that. Am based on the east coast... Great Yarmouth - 20 miles from Norwich.
19. hi.... would split the cabs... lookin for £500 for the two or £250 each...

The best thing about this rig is the versatility... can be run with either single or both cabs - mainly the reason i purchased 2 seperate smaller cabs really, as i only take both to larger gigs.
