13. I was going down the Badass route but had drastic change of plan so here is an untouched 5 string version in chrome. NOTES: 1) This is a shorter length version (4 x 2.5 ") than the standard (4 x 2.75"). Slight difference but thought I need to mention... 2) Everything the same except the base plate is shorter by 1/4" (about 6mm). 3) Ungroved so you can have your own string spacing at the bridge (or have it done professionally if you can't DIY) Which means that it takes up less surface area on your beautiful bass body!! And does the same job!!! And weighs less!! Enough sales pitch talk. You know what I mean...
14. For you gentlemen (and ladies) to drool over... Form an orderly cue please! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/189130-acoustic-image-focus-2-amplifier-head/
15. NOW SOLD!!! Sorry Guys!!! Some lucky bugger is having it... Bought from a fellow bass chatter several years ago and it has been superb! It was sent to the USA for repairs (couple of years ago) and they replaced/upgraded the power amp stage to the new model! (very nice service team going above and beyond the call..). They even sent it back with a new bag!! It has never failed me since and is one of the truest sound you will find on any amp, but with enough eq for the 'tweakers' and power for the 'rockers'!! Great for electric and double bass (and any other instrument/voice). The weight to power ratio is unbelievable of course...no back breaking here! Reason for sale...simple! I bought a newer class D head (T.C.) and wanted to get an analog one as my backup so this was the logical one to go. I'm really reluctant to put this up for sale but, here goes...... Acoustic Image Focus 2 - Two channels - 350 Watts into 8 ohms, 600 watts into 4-ohm minimum load), high-fidelity, full-range - High and low-Z instrument inputs, four-band EQ, effects loop, direct out with ground lift - Phantom mic power - Dual voltage (115V/230V) operation - 4.4 lbs - Comes with fitted padded case - High pass/notch filter to control boomy room frequencies or feedback - Fx loops for both channels with level controls - 2 speakon connections The second channel has phantom power available and can power an external pre/DI like the Sansamp units. It can also be used with a vocal or bass mic.
16. SOLD!! Thanks guys.. [s]Jest remembered that I have these. As stated, I put these on and took them off in a week time as I needed something different for the gig I was doing. Described as: LA BELLA 7720 CHROME STEEL FLAT WOUND for Double Bass, chrome steel flatwound on a rope core, recommended for classical music these strings have an exceptional bow response, set, medium tension, for 3/4 and 4/4 scale length. G 7721 D 7722 A 7723 E 7724 My opinion: Low tension, nice feel and bright. (would help a dark sounding bass speak better). Packaging tatty but stings as described.[/s]
17. Superior bag bump!! I will help with postage/delivery....
