Nothing wrong with the Behringer and under £30

If it's a dirty distortion you want, I wouldn't go for the blowtorch. I also use it for Starlight and Time is Running Out by Muse - it's excellent for these sounds, but as previously said, it's more of an understated synth sound - and I agree that without the "torch" button on, it's not that impressive.

No, we don't try to look like them and we are a 5-piece : Vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keys ( really talented young girl on keys ) What we do endeavour to do is to recreate their live sound, doing material from all their albums. In my opinion Muse stopped being a 3-piece years ago, which is a pity because it's the earlier material that I really liked - the jury's still out for now on their new album as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the post wishing us best of luck - I thought for a minute that you had experience of the venue and it was a bit dodgy!!

Citizens Erased, Muse tribute band, are playing Trillians Rock Bar, Newcastle on Monday 24th August. Bar has recently been refurbished with a new £30,000 sound system. Would love to meet any Basschatters.

Citizens Erased will be performing songs from all 5 Muse albums at Doctor Browns, Middlesbrough, Fri 1st May 9pm.

Swapped a Jazz body for a Yamaha NE-1 EQ. Very friendly and VERY understanding when I forgot the Jazz body the first time! Arranged to meet again, swap went smoothly, can't wait to try EQ. Top bloke.

Thanks for the heads up anyway. We're booked in for an overnight stay so looking forward to a few beers afterwards.
