  1. Would you be interested in trade for Toby pro 5? - and I am local
  2. When I was in a Muse Tribute I used a combination of the Korg AXB3000 with individual pedals. These were a Blowtorch, Boss ODB-3 and a Boss CEB-3. If you try to replicate exactly the sound of Time is Running Out, Hysteria, Uprising etc.. you'll end up going round in circles and spending a fortune ( I know from experience! ) I found the above pedals got me as close as I needed to the sounds, but then again it depends on the guitar and amp set-up. I would definitely recommend the Blowtorch for Muse sounds, but I'm sure other members of this forum will recommend other pedals. Feel free to drop me a pm if you want any more advice.

  6. Nothing wrong with the Behringer and under £30
  7. If it's a dirty distortion you want, I wouldn't go for the blowtorch. I also use it for Starlight and Time is Running Out by Muse - it's excellent for these sounds, but as previously said, it's more of an understated synth sound - and I agree that without the "torch" button on, it's not that impressive.

  12. Music was pretty good and will only get better with practice and experience, and you look the part. We're a 5-piece because of keyboards, and band was formed by a guitarist who couldn't do lead vocals. If there's anything I can help you with ( not that I think you need any help ) drop me a pm
  13. Cheers Toddy - I hope it's a good gig 'cos I'm travelling quite a way after a day at work. Booked in overnight so at least can sample the local brew though!
  14. No, we don't try to look like them and we are a 5-piece : Vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keys ( really talented young girl on keys ) What we do endeavour to do is to recreate their live sound, doing material from all their albums. In my opinion Muse stopped being a 3-piece years ago, which is a pity because it's the earlier material that I really liked - the jury's still out for now on their new album as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the post wishing us best of luck - I thought for a minute that you had experience of the venue and it was a bit dodgy!!
  15. Was that sincere or do you know something we don't?
