    Just had a first jam with a ska band found on JMB. They all know each other from the scene so I'm the new boy. Was really friendly with some decent playing. Was advertised as relaxed and low key so happy to see where it goes for now. Difficult thing is finding dates that suits everyone. A good way for me to get back in to playing live.

    Putting up for trade or sale my beautiful 2019 2nd gen Sire V7 5 string fretless. Transparent white (white blond) with lined maple fretboard. Weighs about 4.4kg according to the bass direct advert when I bought it earlier this year. Just put a fresh set of Ernie Ball flats on it. I'm looking to trade for an amp, cab or Combo. Should be able to sort postage (covered by buyer), I have a box in the loft.

    Just kicking off a new ska band so working through a ton of Skatalites and related tunes. Really enjoying it but getting the bounce right is quite tricky. Looking forward to jamming them with the band next week.
