  3. Yes. Looked at this one…gonna play around with the Grizzly a bit more.
  4. Hello team, I have a Grizzly Bass Pedal. It’s powerful etc but it’s not the best for home recording…too much signal… This is with me MM Bongo. Does anyone have any supreme recommendations for white simple analog distortion pedals that can also create fuzz, overdrive etc?

  6. Yes. I watched that video! I really need to know some in depth info of bass guitar quality versus the scarlet. Marginal or otherwise.
  7. Let’s see if they release a gen 4!
  8. Hello there. Mine is the 3rd gen. Some folks say for recording instruments there’s no need for a Clarett. For vocals maybe?
  9. Hello folks, Has anyone any experience recording with both of these interfaces? I have the 2i2! All the reviews point to the Clarett is significantly improved? Any experiences welcome!

  11. Hello Low Notes BassBeast aka TrueComposer here… Completely self taught since 1990. Decided to play because of my love of The Cure. So nice to follow one’s motivation to play however and whenever… Currently using a 2014 Bongo 4H and occasionally Stingray 9v. Hoping to find a Stingray Special asap…
  12. Engaging the instrument button adds lots of boost to the signal. Too much with the Bongo. When I do this I can barely have any signal coming from the Bongo. I’m so used to having my Stingray 9v vol all the way up to max without clipping or distortion even with the Inst button engaged. One person said not to engage the inst button instead of Line on the Scarlett if the Bongo is connected. Are you saying that it is better to have the inst button engaged? If so, please tell me why you think so…
  13. What I’m wrestling with is that with my Stingray 9v at max Vol on the far left pot I never clip or distort unless the Scarlett gain is too high. With the Bongo max vol on the left bass pot is often too high. I want to know if the Stingray Special Vol pot would behave like this because it’s also an 18v preamp.

  15. Possibly but not sure it can be done?
  16. Good evening. Simple question: Does anyone have any direct experience using both of these basses? I own the Bongo (2004) but often find it is too powerful for my Scarlett 2i2 at 18v and can easily distort. I also have a Stingray at 9v that never distorts. I have an itch to ditch my Bongo for a Stingray Special also at 18v. Is it as hot as the Bongo or have they changed the output at all to stop this? Thank you.
  17. Hello team, Ok! I’ve been using Energizer 9v Industrial batteries with me Bongo. Have to admit the Bongo drains em much faster than hoped. Lithium 9v are too expensive I think at around £9 each. I’d need 2 each time. Been looking at Duracell Plus as an option. Or Duracell Industrial. Anyone tried a range of 9v batteries with their 18v Bongo? Which has best long life but remains affordable? Thank you!
  18. Hello folks. Apologies, I’m not trying to sell my Music Man Bongo Metallic Blue 4H bass. I’m hoping to find someone out there with a Stingray 3EQ who’d like to swap… I'm in London… Any advice would be awesome! Where can I look? Shops, online places… Thank you!
  19. Hello bass people, Does anyone happen to be selling their PBF A/DA flanger? I’m in the UK, so a UK seller would be preferable! Thank you folks!
  20. Hello Sir, I may be interested, BUT I wonder if you could tell me how you'd suggest powering the Grizzly Bass? This is suggested by the company "Pedaltrain Powertrain™ 1250" What have you been using? Cheers Nicholas
