Cheers Gil, these bloody southerners have got pre wold cup jitters ( yes I know you got there and we didn't, and I DO know what happened in 1966 thanks to Carlsberg - and also more importantly for us world cup duffers - 1967 !!! ) which has impaired their senses of humour.

My incredibly strong forearms cope well with the Overwater lol.

Could I tempt you with the Basson if I threw in a Thomann Wireless system ???? As new, works well, I just don't use it. I never wander too far from my gear !! Stadiums just ain't as big as they used to be !!

I kinda like that the truss rod cover says JAZZMAN but it has a bass pickup !!

I have a 2008 Perception and although a hi fi sounding bass the eq has plenty of punch. Hope you have better luck cotacting them than I do. I have emailed them 3 times over the past month with no response !!

Sorted, phew !!
It was indeed very tricky. There's a low F sharp that catches you out and then there are a few times where the chord changes underneath but the bass note stays the same. normally I have a pretty good ear, but I found this a bit tricky. Must be getting old.
Anyway it's now done and I'm a happy puppy.

Would it be possible to pre-order ( and pay for of course ) thus enabling you to have more accurate ordering info for the supplier. It might be too much work and if so just forget the idea.
Just trying to be helpful, but am aware it may involve more work that its worth.
I'm down to an XL now ( from a 4xl this time last year ) !!!
