1. Here's my Mini Sale!! Clearout to help fund a new high end amp for upcoming gigs. Please note all guitars are fully setup and fully working, only issues are dings/scuffs or movement of strap buttons on the older instruments. All equipment can be brought to the South Wales (Cardiff) Bass Bash on the 29th except the one bass stated below, however I prefer collection (in Cardiff) on all the other instruments. I will be able to post one, but thats on a first come first serve basis. All prices are FIRM and very reasonable for the quality and nick they're in. Possibly other items will be added if I can't grab the money quick enough. Pictures will be added, but PM me your email address so I can send you the better detail ones please! ALSO I'm not the guy in the videos, nor are they my items, its just to give you an idea of the sound/tone, harmony central should help you out for reviews etc.

Items coming up: Ashdown Superfly Amp Head?
    DR880 Boss Drum Machine?
    Roland Bass Cube 30?
    ESP PC-2V?

I can travel a reasonable distance to you by train for everything but amplifiers.

Next up for sale is my beloved Ultra Rare 1987 JACKSON CHARVEL STAR GUITAR

Great condition for a 22 year old guitar! However someone has changed the strap buttons even though it balanced before anyways. Couple o scuffs. It has a plush moulded hardshell case in flawless condition apart from one of the locks is broken and could do with a repair... Now for the pro's

    Specs:

Alder Unique Charvel Star body as inspired by Eddie Van Halen (known as the Shark) and used by
Chris Holmes of WASP (my two favourite guitarists).

'Shattered Glass' Graphic (original Jackson Charvel paintjob).

Original Floyd Rose Bridge with original Jackson tremolo bar (make sure you know how to tune before buying).

Unlaquered Charvel Eastern Hardrock Maple neck with 22 Fret Rosewood fingerboard (David Gilmour of Pink Floyd used to import them for his Strat! Probably the best feature, none better).

Jackson Black Grover tuners (when the guitars tuned it stays so for about a month).

Single Bridge position pickup, currently a high output white Seymour duncan distortion as used by Paul Stanley (KISS) and Gary Rossington (Lynyrd Skynyrd). Allegedly the original hotrod pickup. Cracking tone!

Chrome Rotary knobs x2 volume and tone.

IN A AMERICA THE GUITAR ALONE GOES FOR $2000 AND THE NEW CUSTOM REISSUES ARE £1200 - £1500 USUALLY. THE NEW FACTORY VERSIONS HAD POOR FINISHES AND ELECTRONICS YET STILL WENT FOR £600!

    MARSHALL AVT50 VALVESTATE 2000.

Check Harmony Central for consistently good reviews of 178 customers.

2x Channels, Clean (gain, volume, bass, treble) and Overdrive (Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, reverb) also has cd and heaphone input.

Fancooled, Channel Footswitch, 18kg approx. Brilliant for bedroom practice, band practice and will manage small gigs without their own house equipment without breaking your back! The Marshall Overdrive gives you something over the drummer and utterly nails all your Classic Rock, could do Metal as well. This amp has a valve in the preamp so all the more benefit to the warmth of the clean channel as well!

This model has been discontinued now but they've already made a tribute to it due to the innovative technology - they should bring it back. Has a 1x12 celestion speaker - the best money can buy!

Japanese Tokai Hardpuncher (P Bass) with Fender USA Alcino pickups. Blonde with Matching Headstock and Maple Fretboard, Gold Hardware. Fully setup with a new pack of strings and Hardshell Case. V.Nice, just sounds like a P bass...

    £275 + P&P

Also for sale is my Roland Bass30 cube which is in mint condition HOWEVER it was bought from Thomann and thus has a german two prong plug. I bought UK adapter plus which I cut to fit and used some electricians tape to attach. The amp is the best practice amp available in my honest opinion.

    £100 Collection only

  2. Wow! thats perfect!! Thank you kindly. Got one ordered. Just need to sort the Tortoise shell pickguard. I'll get the ashtrays done professionally, my DIY skills are pretty poor haha :) . Pics will be up soon, its a lurvely bass - I'll do the whole before and after thing!

  3. Hi Bcers,

Just recently purchased a Tokai Hardpuncher in blonde w/ matching headstock, gold hardware, maple neck and a Fender USA Alcino pickup. I've never played a P before because of my hate for large necks, but this ones great and the tone is incredible. First time I've ever had to use my pinky finger playing octaves! It'll fit nicely with my new prog rock band too

I'm looking to change the Pickguard from white to tortoiseshell add gold pickup cover/ashtrays and upgrade the pickup to something ultra powerful. I may consider ugrading the bridge and tuners also. I'm not sure the pickguard of the USA P bass will be the same as the tokai, also the thumb rest on the tokai has just one screw hole, how would I go about getting one made? When i decide to mount the ashtrays would that be better done by a servicing shop or should i try myself? Don't really want to crack the paint. Suggestions and advice please! :)

    Regards,

    Oli

  4. BUMP!! I just bought the Tokai Hardpuncher off Tom recently and its came in Mint Condition AND Fantastically Packaged - took me a good thirty minutes to get it out haha. I would highly recommend buying up the remaining two basses with confidence!! I've had prior experience with several corts and wish I still had one in my collection, no doubt that ones of the same quality.

  5. Nothing like a bit o 80's Glam Rock.... or perhaps thats just me!

  6. Thanks Rich :) I'm not overly desperate for a sale, but I do need the money to afford my rent in an expensive uni room next year... and to get away from the mental bunch i currently live with. So I may open this up to overseas shipping after checking the costs. I think if i let it go for any less than £900 collected I'd be kicking myself.

  7.
Yep, I just want to know if he wanted to sell it or not?
Yes my english is poor, i'm from belgium \o/
    Sorry :'(
Ah no worries, the bass is probably sold, just pending the payment now but if that falls through you'll be the first to know. :)

YEAH!! Show me the parcelforce picture, i've always used em and they've been fine - apart from they should be called Parcelforce 72 as opposed to 48....
