If I have to move the position of the Ferrules I think I can do it. I'm repainting the guitar anyway. Some woodfiller in the old holes and drill out the new ones. Shouldn't be too hard.
This is exactly like my bass.

This is my bridge, string spacing is correct.

Hipshot transtone
PS you people are awesome, thanks for the help!
Did a few google searches and think I'm doing it right but I've never done this before and I'm nervous, I only get one shot and need to hit the bullseye. On this image I placed red X's on the holes I've not drilled yet. Just want reassurance that alignment is correct before I drill the holes in question and screw the bridge down to the guitar. Thanks in advance!
I'm upgrading my bridge. I used some long Machine Screws, inserted through the Ferrules and placed the bridge inserting the screws into the bridge string holes. Alignment is so tight I'll have to back the screws back out to remove them. So warning, dumb question coming - Before I drill the holes in the wood to secure the bridge to the guitar, this is correctly aligned right? Straight through, no offset?
Anyone know what these are? Was searching for a set and wondered if I found some gems. Thanks in advance.

I just got the deluxe big muff today, I like it better than my joyo octive fuzz, I'm getting rid of the joyo now.
Been having a blast for the last few hours. Trying to figure out a good pedal chain order? Suggestions welcomed. I got a demonfx horizon overdrive and a providence bass boot compressor, been switching the 3 pedals around and spinning the knobs.
🤔
There's a notch in the middle of the tone knobs that sort of holds the knob from slipping and finds exact center. I assumed that was zero and up and down was positive negative.
The settings on my amp usually stay around,
Gain 10.5 O'clock
Low, all the way up
Mid, 9 O'clock
High, 3 O'clock
Chorus, 10.5 O'clock
Volume around 9 O'clock if my girlfriend is home, 3 O'clock if she's not here.
I leave the low, mid, and high knobs all the way up on the built in preamp of the bass guitar, then adjusted desired tone at the amp head low mid high knobs.
I'm staying away from a preamp because I can't figure out why or where or how to set those same controls in my pedal chain. Probably wouldn't benefit me at all would it? Maybe I'm making a rookie mistake?
Is the Electro-Harmonix Nano Metal Muff a preamp, since it has high mid and low? I almost bought one but intentionally went with a distortion that didn't have all that stuff, thought since it's already both on the guitar and amp I didn't need it.
Having low mid high on the amp and a preamp with low mid high built into the guitar I've wondered if I bought a preamp pedal if it would just be overkill and bring me instant buyers remorse?
I'm using a valeton tar 20 B.
Mine was 75 American dollars new. I do also have the joyo voodoo, Google search for the joyo voodoo on bass guitar and watch a few videos.
Lol, what was I thinking.
I won't disassemble, paint and resemble the Traben until I have a new pickup and extras. I've chosen,
EMG mmcs
EMG bqs control
EMG tko kill switch
I will disable the neck pickup.
Just need to save up some money, hopefully this time next month.
