Tony bought my TC BH800 Tone Print amp. Communications were great, payment all fine and he wisely asked for photos of the amp with our names on a piece of paper to avoid scams, which I recommend everyone do! Absolutely seamless sale and a pleasure to do business. Thanks for buying the amp and I hope Tony has loads of fun with it! Cheers. Kim

This is the best bass I've ever played. It's incredible. I was a bit worried when I first got my hands on it wondering if I'd done the right thing - out of the box it felt like a different leage in terms of quality but I wasn't sure about the sound but every hour I've played this it's felt more and more like I'm home. In terms of playability I can tell that this is a higher quality instrument than the Chinese-made Combustion I had, and that was fantastic. Sound wise, I'd have to have them next to each other to tell the difference (except the preamp - this Neve-designed setup is WAY more me than the EMG and I love the passive tone control), that's how good those far eastern instruments are, but when it comes to the feel of the bass in my hands. I am blown away. Mind-blowing.

Darkglass ADAM - new and unused - £205 including postage - *SOLD*

I don't think so, but the ADAM pedal was very "in" for a while, and I guess a few people have upgraded to the Anagram. I think that because of the association with Nolly's tone it gets pigeonholed and people have NO IDEA how versatile it is as a piece of kit. I really rate mine and I don't play metal at all, even as a totally clean preamp and digital I/O it's a superb thing to have, before you factor in the distortion and compression. Anyway. GLWTS. If I had the money I'd buy this as a spare! -

I've seen this around a couple of times and it's EXACTLY the kind of vintage bass I'd be after - one that's been messed around too much for a collector, but loved enough that it's been played a lot and worth customising. If I was still playing 4-string basses I'd love to have a go on it - could be a killer instrument. Or a mutt, but it'd be worth trying.

UPDADE!!!! It's arrived with Bass Direct and they're sending it out today to be with me tomorrow! To say I'm excited is an understatement... Update on the update - I have a tracking number! I may actually do an unboxing video on this one, I've never ever bought something like this before, a custom bass...

This is a TC BH800 class d amp. You know what it is... I've liked this amp but I'm trying out a new setup and this is no longer needed so... I have a one-in, one-out rule! Used at a gig this week and it delivered really well. It's on for £235 delivered (I don't have the original box but it'll be well packaged), if you want come and try it out first and collect in person I'll take the cost of postage off. Specs here https://www.tcelectronic.com/product.html?modelCode=0707-ACF Any questions just ask. Kettle lead included just because lord knows I don't need all the ones I have...

I just collected a GSS Sumo amp from Mike and as well as enjoying an absolutely brilliant process for buying the amp, he made me simply a perfect cup of tea and we had a lovely chat! Thanks, Mike, I really appreciate your time setting the amp up for me to try with a bass for a few moments, and what a lovely bass that bitsa-GB-Lakland was. I've not often gotten on with Barolini's but they do a smashing job in that instrument! All the best and I hope I'm lucky enough to do business with you again.

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?
kwmlondon replied to nilorius's topic in General Discussion
I could do but I’m starting to feel frustrated and I’d rather leave while we’re on good terms. There were points at the last rehearsal where I was really not enjoying it. -
How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?
kwmlondon replied to nilorius's topic in General Discussion
I did a long rehearsal last night with a group I'm doing a gig with on Monday, and it was fun to spend some time with the guys, but I think I'm going to bow out after that's done. I like the two others in the band, and it's fun doing the guitarist's material - his songs have been great to write basslines for - but I just don't feel like I'm being challenged, musically. I feel like I need to find a project that'll push me to up my game, AND I really want to move more into disco/funk rather than the rock I've been doing. It'll be a shame - the afterpractise beers have been a highlight of the week! I took the Positive Grid Spark Live to the Pirate rehersal space in Camden as we could not book a room with amps and it totally kept up with the drummer. I even plugged the guitarist in for a couple of songs and it sounded really good with both of us - he loved the tone! However, it's just a bit too heavy to hoik around in a backpack so I've invested in one of those granny shopping trollies for £20. It will be way easier to get around with the bass strapped on my back and the amp trundling along behind...
