1. Selling also my beloved Glockenklang Bass Art Classic Head. Wonderful clear and deep sound, but too heavy for me so it stands all of its life in my home. Excellent condition. Comes in a matching plastic case. Asking 980 GBP / 1100 EUR plus shipping from Duesseldorf. EU only and no trades please. I only sell it because I need space at home.
2. Selling this reference tube preamp from Aguilar. Discontinued long ago and therefore a rare find. This tube pre has not only one tube, it has 5 ! Excellent condition. Comes with original footswitch and hard case. Has a very open and clear high end yet a powerful punch as we all love it from Aguilar. Asking 1050 GBP / 1200 EUR plus shipping from Duesseldorf / Germany. No trades - I only sell it because I need space in my home.
3. Selling my Bergantino IP112/EX112 stack in very good condition. Original covers and AC cable are included. The IP112 is an active bass cab with a power amp and a switchable DSP mode (500W 8 ohm/ 1000W 4 ohm - with additional 8 Ohm cab). Together with the EX112 (1x12" speaker without tweeter) you have a compact yet fat sounding stack. You need a DI or preamp to use the stack with a bass. I preferred a RMI Basswitch and even with EQ flat and no effects I always got an amazing sound with both active and passive basses. IP112: 21kg. EX112: 16kg. Firm price is 1050 GBP / 1200 EUR. Located in Duesseldorf / Germany. Will ship to EU at buyer's expenses. I will NOT split the stack and I am NOT interested in any trades. The Eden Navigator preamp on the pic is NOT included ...
4. Offering my F Bass BN6, 90s P-Bass pickup version, Neck-through Specs: Quilted Maple Top Alder Body wings Greenburst finish 5pc Maple Neck, Neck-Through ! Thick Macassar Ebony Board, 24 frets 34 scale 18mm spacing at bridge Black Hardware Black Metal and Pickup Covers Pope Flexcore Preamp: Vol (p/p active/passive), Bal, passive Tone, stacked Treble/Bass, stacked Hi-Mid/Lo-Mid, Hi-Mid frequency select (lo-mid switch will be included, but not installed) Weight: 4,9 kg This is a unique BN6 from the 90s with some special extras. Not only the Greenburst finish (which looks breathtaking in natural, not everybody's cup of tea though). More important is the through-neck, George Furlanetto usually only builds Bolt-Ons today. Secondly the 34" scale (today 34.5 is common) and the 18mm spacing (today 19mm is common). The amazing Ebony Board is quite thick and rounded on top - more than most other basses. The P-Bass-like pickups had been the Standard back in that days. They have wooden covers and can be adjusted in height so that the board radius could be perfectly matched. The limited Alain Caron BN6 Replica from 2010 had most of these specs reissued. The bass sounds quite warm and organic, like all BNs I played in the past. Perhaps with a little more sparkling top-end due to the thick Ebony board. The original electronics come with the bass. People who recall the older BN6 circuit probably understand why I replaced it with the excellent Pope Flexcore preamp - the older F Bass pre was not really supporting the bass and had a strange EQ mixing function which in my ear was too complex (yes - the Pope works easier !). The currrent F Bass pre is also excellent and could be purchased for about 370 USD (plus plus ...). This bass has been played a lot and that is visible all over the bass. Condition is structurally very good - everything works fine. Aesthetically it shows a lot of wear from playing. Please look at the pics. Bass comes with a luxury Levys LM19 leather gigbag - best in class ! 5. Here I am offering my wonderful Marleaux MBass 6. Specs: Poplar Burl Wood Top Dibetou Body One-pice Quartersawn Maple Neck Neck Dimensions: 2.125" at Zero Fret, 3.5" at 24th Fret Fingerboard: Pau Ferro Scale 34" 24 frets (+zero fret) Bridge Pickup: Marleaux Custom Wound "Jazzbucker" Neck Pickup: Marleaux Custom Wound Jazz Single Coil Preamp: Aguilar OBP-3 Marleaux ramps built for this bass Controls: Volume (P/P for active/passive), Blend, Stacked Treble/Bass, Midrange (Push/Pull for Mid Frequency), mini-switch coil-select for bridge pickup Tuners: Schaller M2000 Black Bridge: ETS Tuningfork (18mm spacing, fully adjustable) Weight: 9.6 lbs / 4.6 kg Built in 2003 This is the original MBass version, not the 2012 upgrade. Personally I prefer these first MBass models against the newer ones. Anyway - I received this recently in a trade and can't afford another 6er - even if it is as wonderful as this perticular one. The bass shows only minor wear, frets are like new and truss rod works fine. Very easy to play with low action and a relatively low weight for a real 6er. The sound is quite versatile but in all settings it sits stable in the mix and never gets lost. Staccato lines, slapping, chords are delivered with similar dominance like supportive rock or jazz basslines. When I received this bass the electronics were poorly installed: the non-original output jack was not fixed (the pics still show this version), the passive switch did not work. I fixed all issues and installed an original Telecaster-type output jack. Everything looks and works as it should. Bass comes with non-original HC. Asking price 2.100 GBP / 2.400 Euro + shipping. No trades. Bass is located in Duesseldorf/ Germany. 6. Trade offers with Fender-type 4-6-stringers are welcome.
7. Trade offers with Fender-type 4-6-stringers are welcome.
8. The Celinder comes with 3 Ebony knobs and a stacked metal knob. A fourth Ebony knob is also included. Perhaps the new owner finds a spare Greengrove pre to recover the original state with 4 non-stacked knobs.
9. Selling my Benavente SCD 6 Bolt-On with Satinwood Top Specs: Satinwood Top Mahogany Body wings 5pc Maple Neck with Wenge stringers, Bolt-On Rosewood Board with black binding, 24 frets 35 scale 19mm spacing at bridge Black Hardware Ebony Knobs and Pickup Covers Benavente Dual Coils Benavente Preamp (Vol, Bal, Mid, Treble, Bass) Weight: 4,8 kg Just received this as part of a bigger trade and decided to not keeping it as I play 34" only these days. Chris Benavente is an underrated luthier from US. He makes incredible stuff and this bass is no exception. A flat neck with a low action makes this bass as fast as it could be. Excellent condition, some very minor playwear here and there - nothing to show in pics. Frets are like new and truss rod works fine. Bass comes with non-original gigbag. the wooden pickguard is an aftermarket add-on which reduces the distance between strings an body top at the neck end. New price per Sep 30th 1.700 GBP / 1.900 Euro + shipping. Bass is located in Duesseldorf/ Germany. Pics here: http://s934.photobuc...206%20Satinwood
10. Selling my Celinder Custom 6 Koa Specs: Figured Koa Top Mahogany Body wings 5pc Maple Neck with Purpleheart stringers, Bolt-On Ebony Board, 24 frets 36 scale 19mm spacing at bridge Black Hardware Celinder (Armstrong) Radiused Dual Coils Glockenklang Preamp (Vol, Bal, Mid, Stacked Treble/Bass, Active/passive, Coil Tap Switch) Weight: 5,1 kg Built in: 90s Just received this as part of a bigger trade and decided to not keep it as I play 34" only these days. It is a wonderful bass though ! This bass is already shown on Chris Celinders website. Although as you probably know Chris stopped to produce basses long ago so this is a rare piece of his amazing work. The electronics were originally built by Greengrove. Unfortunately a previous owner replaced it with a Glockenklang 3 bd - which is a great preamp too but I prefer the original one. Anyway - when this bass arrived here it was wired completely wrong. The active/passive switch was out of function and the pickups have been wired as Singles only and with out-of-phase when both pickups are involved. I fixed the pickup wiring with the help of Chris himself. Now the coil tap switch provides either Dual coil mode or Single Coil mode, but both neck coils only. Chris told me that the neck coils are exactly on JB 70s positions - adopted to 36". So that wiring makes perfect sense and the bass now is a typical Celinder: explosive, eays to play, very articulate and with a huge B. The radiussed pickups evens out the different heights of the strings which of course follow the board radius. Very low action - everything works now as it should. Excellent condition, some very minor playwear here and there - nothing to show in pics. Frets are like new and truss rod works fine. Currently strung with brand new d'Addario EPS Super Long. Bass comes with non-original HC. SOLD Pics here: http://s934.photobuc...ustom%206%20Koa
11. Is the spacing at the bridge original ? 15mm is quite narrow and the neck looks perfect for a wider spacing. Would be tempting if it would be customizable towards 17mm...
12. Just received a very nice F Bass BN5 from Erik. The bass is absolutely flawless as decsribed, was VERY well packed (and I myself I am very careful), plays and sounds as I could wish. Communication was clear and item was shipped in 1 day from Slovakia to Germany. Thanks for the smooth deal, Erik. Thumbs up !

14.
Sorry, a little confused, a 66 bass with 1967 dated pickups? Am I missing something?
May be the pickup date is an expiry date ? Just kidding ... I formerly owned an LPB 66 (from pots and neck) which also had the Jan 67 pup dates. Seems to be common to that years and a difference of a few months is neither a surprise nor reduces the value. Just my 2c.
15. I press my thumbs ! I would be happy to see it in your hands, Barrie, and you both staying within EU
