1. Hi All I am thinking of selling my 1989 Gallien Kruger 800RB it is a USA spec at 110volts it has been around the block but everything works fine, would be selling it without the stepdown tranformer which needs to be rated at 1000watts or more as it pulls 900 on fire up,not selling the transformer as need it for other gear, quality ones are about £75 inc del from Voltage converters, any idea on price anyone or any interest, Rich I have posted it in this forum before putting it in the for sale section

 11.
Something like this should be OK (though you'd need to get/make a 16A CE to 13A adaptor for this one): Transformer But it'll be heavy and generally a pain... Ultimately I'd get someone to change the amp transformer
Thanks Stewart Yes I know they are heavey apparently I would need one of 1500 watt, just looking at the best options
 12. Hi all ,My name is Rich, and I have just bought a GK800RB from the States which is of course 110v ,I have looked inside and the tansformer does not have the neccesary 4 tags on the mains side,I have spoken to Panic music and thats what they seem to be .Saying I cannot use a stepdown transformer, because I could get earthing and live chassie problems,so according to them it means a new transformer and other stuff to make it safe, seems a bit over the top to me .if you have any advice I would be more than grateful,Thanks Rich
 13. Think you might have a struggle at £650 as the last few on here have gone for about 4 and under, but good luck anyway
