1. Well, it has a truss rod and isn't as old as you first stated. That's two "+" in my book at least.
 2. That Modulus is not from -94, since Modulus first put truss rods on their necks in -99. I'm guessing it's made in -99 from the serial. That should be good news, right?
 3. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
 4. I can see why. These are GREAT basses.
 5. This is a "pre-Nashville", but not a "pre-Gibson". GLWTS!
 6. This is probably one of the most beautiful basses ever built!
 7.
Hi there Is this bass still for sale, I've been after one for years! Many thanks Andy
Hi, Andy! Yes, it is. I'll PM you.
 8.
WOW! These things are as rare as the proverbial rocking-horse dung. The only Musicman rarer than this is a Cutlass II, I think. Good luck with the sale!
Yes, and the fact that Modulus went bankrupt earlier this year makes these even more special, I think. Thank you.
 9.
In which case, may I direct you to the following...? http://musicmanbass....tompage0018.htm http://forums.ernieb...3-cutlasss.html Would be otherwise very interested in yours but I'm in the process of setting up house - one day maybe...
Ok, now I've read it at two places. I've still seen the number 400 mentioned more times though, but I don't know which source to be considered more reliable than the other, so... Any how, I think we can agree upon that not alot of them were made and that even fewer is still around.
 10.
There were rumoured to be 600 Cutlass I made and 300 Cutlass II. I'm still looking for one with low action.
Ok. I can't confirm, nor disprove that number, but 400 is what I've read on several places and never 600. You wouldn't be disappointed by this one, I believe.
 11.
Wow.... if only I had another errrrrr..... <checks wallet> ....errrr.... £1930 Pishflaps.
I know the feeling. Thank you for the bump though.
 12.
Do want. Cannot afford For those not aware, this is one of the rarest, coolest basses on the planet. GLWTS!
I'd lie if I'd say that I weren't having second thoughts about this. If I'd regret selling it, I imagine that it'd take quite a while before I'd find another one.
 13.
This is well after Leo, not far from the eventual demise of Music Man as a company in 1984, but the basses actually got a bit better after Leo departed. Allegedly. Relatively few of these basses were ever made, hence their rarity and high desirability. A very special bass at a very fair price .
Yes. I've read that only about 400 were made.
