Fitted some pure vintage 64 pickups to mine and had a setup today. The stock pickups are great on the classic vibe but I ❤️ these pickups.

Got this one a few weeks ago but have just had some Vintage Pure 64 Pickups fitted into it that I picked up on eBay (after loving them so much in the flea jazz).

The bass is very light at 8lbs 3oz and after a good setup, this bass is brilliant for the price paid £289. 
 

If you are looking at the Squier classic vibe series, I can highly recommend.

Mine arrived today, very impressed. Fretwork is good and it sounds great plugged in.

The only thing that stands out to me is the pole pieces poke out of the pickup covers (they are all level mind). My other jazzes the pole pieces are flush. Is this a usual squier thing? 
 

I’ve ordered one too and managed to get one at 8lbs 3oz so should be nice and light to play. Arrives on Tuesday. I just hope I can make it sing like this chap:-

Fender Jazz Bass 2010 American Standard 

The colour is Black with a maple fretboard. Comes with case candy and hardcase. The bass is in good condition with a couple of small dings and surface scratches. I will include the original white pickguard and a couple of extras.

Weight on my not very accurate kitchen scales is around 4.3kg.

Great deal. Purchased one of these last week for more than this. Fabulous bass and the pickups are very special. 

I like the new stuff. It took me a while to like it. I really struggled with unlimited love and it took a lot of listens before it clicked. I am really interested to see what the new album offers. 

 

Another vote for the Flea Jazz Bass Roadworn. So fun to play and the pickups sound brilliant. I am so impressed with the Mexican artist series (love my JMJ too).

I have decided to thin down my collection of basses, so sadly this one is going up for sale.

Sunburst G&L L2000 Tribute, purchased from the forum a few months ago. Lovely bass with amazing pickups. There are a couple of dings and surface scratches which I have tried to photograph but nothing that affects playability.

Recently setup with Labella Flatwound Strings a MIJ Fender Mustang Bass in Fiesta Red. The bass is in good condition for its age. A couple of small dings on the body and some surface scratches. A really lovely bass guitar but I’ve decided to reduce the size of my collection.

Purchased last year from Fair Deal music, it has since had a setup and some lovely new strings.

For sale my HX Stomp with Rigid Protection Racket case (cost £42), in used but good condition. The outer box sleeve is a bit damaged

I am selling as I’ve decided that the HX Stomp is not for me as I don’t use many effects of amp simulations. I purchased direct from Yamaha in November 2021.

Back up for sale is a wine red BB604 active bass. I need to reduce my number of basses.

I purchased this bass after falling in love with my BB605. However, I have now decided that I do not need a BB604 and a BB605 as they are tonally very similar. The condition is really good apart from a ding below the neck plate (see images), there are also a few surface scratches but all in all very good condition for an almost 20 year old bass.
