  1. JMB is useless.

We advertised for a drummer and in the ad it clearly stated the location of our rehearsal room and the ideal candidate will have a full drum kit and can drive.

    A 'drummer' replied but:

He lives 30 miles from where we rehearse

    He can't drive

He only has a snare and a hi hat

He seemed to think it could work though despite these small issues...

I just picked up a Mosky Overdrive a few weeks back. It's brilliant, a copy of the Fulltone OCD in a teeny tiny box. There's a "peak" switch (High Peak / Low Peak) to go from a nice clean boost to a more brash and sustain-y distortion. Worth a punt at easily under £20!

    Does it cut the lows?

  3. I've had so many problems trying to get a pickguard that fits my Jazz bass.

    The main problems are:

    1. It's too wide or narrow and doesn't line up with the control plate.

    2. It's too thick and is a couple mm higher than the control plate.

    3. It doesn't fit the neck or the pickup properly.

Where can I buy a pickguard that actually fits?!

  4. I've just got hold of a new pickguard and filed it down to size since it was a little big around the control plate. There are still some slight flaky edges along the top so was going to use sandpaper to smooth it out. Is this okay to do without damaging my pickguard? If so, what grade sandpaper should I use? Thanks in advance.
