  1. Does look a bit odd..doesn't it? A good choice of string spacings may even things up? I'll keep you informed.

  3. Tim from GIGINK online did my scratchplate.Im sure he's on here, I always promised myself a custom, build to my own spec way back when I had no money.(Kids,bills,life,etc) got in the way. UB40 was the first band I really listened to (Oh,and The Jam!) and this Album inspired me to play bass.I was 14 then and Im 54 now!....
  4. Unsure myself as I never had one before and I bought the bridge 2nd hand so not sure if saddles been swapped around.

The spec is... 1 - 2013 new/old stock usa Fender std p body.Alder in gloss black.3 screw string through.🎸 2 - New 2019 Fender mim roasted maple jazz bass neck.🎸 3 - Fender deluxe bridge 3 screw string through.🎸 3A - Scatchplate!....Custom made.UB40 theme.🎸 4 - Fender ferrules x 4 5 - Fender "F" std neckplate and screws (chrome)🎸 6 - EMG pickups....GZR P Geezer Butler sinature🎸 7 - Machine heads...Hipshot Ultralights...not sure yet 8 - Strings!!!.....?? 9 - Control knobs....??

  8. I am in the process of attaching a new 2019 mex jazz bass neck to a new(old stock) 2013 usa standard p body.After offering the neck upto body,the neck pocket is not tight.There is a little play but not much.Will this make any difference once assembled? Thanks...

  11. Loosely....(Very Loosely) based on a 62 Lake Placid. 2004 rosewood neck married to a 2009 LPB body with a 4 ply brown tort pickguard. All other is standard Mex Fender.

  14. Sorry for the delayed response.....Been busy Xmas shopping,working and Building yet Another Bass. 2nd and 3rd pic of neck including any serial numbers. It is a Sunburst body.
  15. Hi all, Ive bought a MIM P bass and Im trying to identify the build date. Or if its a bitza. On the neck is 2004-2005 already identified. The body has a number M00770039 under the pick ups. Is this a body dater number? thanks Shaun..
