Basses: I'd rebuy my Sandberg VT4 but, I'd replace my Mayones Jabba 5 with a Sandberg TM4.
Amps: I just recently purchased a Little Mark Tube which I'm really impressed with so I'd stick with that - would swap my 4*10 cab for two 2*10s.
Pedals: I'd stick with the MXR Octave and Env. Filters , would probably replace the Pork n Pickle with a grizzly bass and look for a new preamp. I'd also try and find funds to upgrade my compressor.

I am not giving up my place in the band 😉
Took me 10 years to get the right people together to make this band work. For some reason people cant seem to get their heads round the concept of 45 minute long pieces of instrumental funky mysic live in a pub: until they hear it done ☺
ha, well if you ever need someone to dep for you, hit me up!
Where do you guys play normally?

Not of us pretending we are playing along to the EP, no
But if you can bear to watch my ugly mug (and if you have the sheer stamina to get to the end of it) here is a little glimpse of us in The Jenny Lind in Hastings. Soundwise its just a capture with a Zoom H4n out front, so the sound is not at all special, but you get a hint of what we are about anyway, last track of the night this one (3rd track on the EP), it either goes very well, or not so much, this version was not too shabby I think, plus after some of the footage was from out front rather than the dodgy fake go-pro the perc player always brings to a gig. Cinematic Funk then, see if you dig it....
I enjoyed this - this is the sort of band I'd love to play with. I'll definitely check out the EP!

I should really commit myself to this challenge - this year I completely re-worked my pedal board, purchased a new Markbass amp head and a new Sandberg bass ... that's quite enough I think, well after I replace the cabinet I just sold that is.
My question is, do presents count against you?? it's my 40th next year and the misses wants to get me something nice ..

I responded to a post JJL put up in the Wanted forum. An extremely easy BCer to deal with, swift payment and a hassle free transaction.

I just sold Al Krow (Bas) my Barefaced cab.
Super friendly guy with great communication. Due to distance we agreed to meet halfway between us at a Pub which provided a good opportunity for a drink and a gear chat - I just hope his GAS infliction isn't contagious 😄

If you like Sunbeams, try Pure Blues.
My fave rounds right now are Roto RBs!
Don't yet have an opinion on DR's - they were 23£ from Amazon so thought I'd take a punt (hope they are not fakes)

Didnt feel like practicing this weekebd so I decided to restring and do basic setups on my basses.
Just put LaBella flats on my Fender PJ and DR Sunbeams onto my Sandberg VT.
Last to go is my Mayones Jabba 5 - haven't decided what to go for as yet (other than will definitely be round wounds of some sort).
What strings are doing it for you guys right now ??
