  1. I've suddenly found myself with 6 amps and one cab, so time to thin the herd! This is a great sounding amp with a nice and simple EQ section that sounds great pretty much however you have it.

    More info: https://orangeamps.com/products/bass-guitar-amps/ob1-series/ob1-500/

Collection from High Wycombe preferred, or can meet up within a reasonable distance. UK postage would be £15 extra.

  2. I hope this is allowed here, it's primarily a guitar processor but does have bass presets too. Really handy for recording and practicing, and sounds decent. Not up to the standard of the modern effects processors costing hundreds but these were top of the range when released. It's basically a desktop version of the GT-100.

  3. A beast of a rig that could handle any gig you throw at it. The same rig used by Victor Wooten and Frank Bello from Anthrax, so clearly very versatile. The amp has just been serviced and is all working as it should - 1000w, tube preamp, solid state power amp. Comes in a hard case. The 410 has a few little tears and marks to the tolex and the 115 is in great condition... both sound as they should. The 410 is ideal for smaller gigs, but both cabs together can sound colossal. There is a knob on the amp to change the amount of power sent to each cab for even more versatility.

Collection from High Wycombe preferred, but I'm willing to drive an hour or so to meet up.

    Complete rig - £550

    Hartke LH1000 amp - £300

    Hydrive 410 1000w 8ohm cab - £250

    Hydrive 115 500w 8ohm cab - £150

  4. Fantastic sounding multi effects unit, that has everything you could ever want. Bought for a covers band that decided to call it a day so I no longer have any use for it. In mint condition with original packaging, PSU and documents, has velcro on the bottom.. Price includes UK postage.

  5. Couldn't figure out the best place for pickup questions, so here goes:

I have a swamp ash P bass body and I feel like doing something different with it for my next project. I love the sound of Thunderbirds, but can't get on with the shape of them and the skinny necks, so I thought I'd get some T Bird pickups and see how it sounds. I assumed there were loads of readily available pickups that people use for that sound... I was very wrong! The only ones seem to be in the States and cost hundreds for a set.

Can anyone suggest any humbuckers (passive circuit) that might give me that sort of hot vintage vibe, that are readily available in the UK? Not concerned about the shape, I'll route for whatever I get. Bonus points if they come in chrome covers! Open to custom UK builders too.

I appreciate simply sticking T Bird pups in an ash P bass won't make it sound like a T Bird, just going for something different.
