  1. Yes, back in the day I bought all manner of gear from Allan Gordons (Markhouse Road Walthamstow) and Holiday Music in Leytonstone. Rehearsals with various covers bands at Allan Gordons under the railway arches in Leytonstone....good old days! Gaucho
  2. Thanks folks, all very much appreciated! Itsmedunc, you've hit the nail on the head buddy, I've hung on to it all these years purely due to the nostalgia! Yes it is loud, much louder than the watts quoted! Gaucho
  3. Now Sold! Rock bottom at £50 and buyer collects: 1984 Vintage HH Bass Baby 150 mosfet 1 x 12 Combo Owned this since '86, bought from Holiday Music with new driver fitted have original receipt! Used for a short while then went into storage for 34 years i kid you not! Gave it a clean and it she sounds great! Obviously could benefit from a service, however a quick pot clean and it'll be fine. 2 channels, built in compressor and 5 band EQ. Corners and tolex showing plenty of l room and storage shuffle mojo, but she's solid! £50 buys a bit of a rarity, even has original cover and oh yes she is typical of the vintage..... heavy, so collection only! Gaucho

  5. Hi guys, Apologies didn't get an email regarding these offers? glassmoon: I'll PM you.....think I know the Lakland you have? Punkpappa: Trades are for 5'vers I'm afraid. Regards Gaucho
  6. Will give it a play as it's been in its case for a while now and unlikely to be in tune, that and randomly wiggle those peg things at the end of the neck, then see what happens...…..stand by??????
  7. Thanks for the offer, but not for me unfortunately. Regards Gaucho
  8. You are correct..... same as 4 is 3 and so on! Works for me
  9. Having a bit of a mare with weights & measures! From inside the top nut to the front of the bridge saddles I make it 34.25 as with a Jabba for example, take it to the string appearing up to the lower section of the saddle (just above the speaking length) it is 35? So I would say 34.25? Gaucho
  10. Hi Oldham, It's 34in buddy, Also I think its a tad lighter than I said.....duff scales??? Gaucho
  11. Back up so soon! I had a custom version of one of these and surprisingly as a fellow Lakland lover it was the one Bass above all I regretted parting with..... Next best neck to a Lakland IMO! Any Trades? Gaucho
  12. As time has moved on and you've shifted one of your collection, are any trades an option?
  13. With the original bridge which it has it's 18mm spacing, can't remember the weight of mine but it was not a heavy Bass by any means! Bass Wielder will no doubt explain his selector switch function?
  14. Cherry burst it is unfortunately..... which I actually like, however it appears mine is an acquired taste
  15. Hey Buddy, Looks like I may need a T or Vm5 again, is a TT5 of interest? Regards Gaucho
  16. …….and a happy ending...all good
  17. Hi Ander 87, Sei is up my street but not a single -cut, PM me with the offer? Regards Gaucho
  18. Probably not, string spacing is a bit tight for me TBH, but PM me over an image and I'll give it further thought if that's ok? Regards Gaucho
  19. Yes, but I had mine back in the day when there were very few lightweights around..... and I was a much younger, fitter and devilishly handsome Gaucho back then …...
  20. Definitely percussive with "slap plates" ! Ash did I not sell you mine many years ago??? Gaucho
  21. I had the same in Black with an ebony board + quarter markers! Was my main Bass most of the mid-late'80's...…. served me very well! GLWTS Gaucho
  22. TBH I was gobsmacked as my shoulder made it the second lightest bass I've owned in years, only a Jabba Custom I had felt lighter! Must be the balance of the instrument? Gaucho
