A nice Mesa D800+ head that caught my eye though :-) They can get pretty much anything in that you want - up to ~ £500 without a deposit, but thereafter they'd prefer a deposit. Hope that helps.

They're the UK distributor for Schecter, Martin, MXR and Mesa Boogie, amongst others. They have masses of Martin acoustics and a fair selection of Schecter guitars. I haven't checked recently to see what they have in the way of basses. I'll be passing by Denmark St this afternoon though - can take a look and report back this evening. Michael

It's a reasonable point. As I have one, I guess I should attempt to make a case for the defence :-) The p/u cover doesn't look quite as starkly white in reality as it does in the pics. It kind of matches the binding on the fretboard too. Hmm... thinking this is a pretty feeble case...

I've only tried a couple of SR5s besides the 30th Anniversary model. I felt the standard SR5 had a little more of a typical MM V profile. The 30th Anniversary seems closer to a C profile, which I prefer. I can measure the nut width / fret depths on mine this evening, if that helps.

Interesting difference in weights - MM claims 10lbs on their website. Mine (rosewood 'board) is 9lb 13oz. The neck is amazing!
