  1. @PatrickJ yes it's volume,volume and a tonestyler tone pot.

The tonestyler is a notched pot with diff capacitor values for each notch. It's a great way of getting a variety of tones without the issues you get with active circuits. Also, the two switches (one for each pickup) have three positions (series/parallel/single coil).

    As it's an oil finish.

There are no marks on the front, neck or headstock. A couple of small marks on the back of the body and leg bout. These are in the Brazilian mahogany, so can prob be steamed out like on a Warwick. The first pic is near the jack socket where it sits on your leg. IMG_20201226_214436.thumb.jpg.c9c048d28d7eb3b721e5a1fa5081b05d.jpg

  2. Have the original box, so shipping should be easy.

    Open to trades on this.

    Can add cash if needed.

Would be very interested in studio gear (1073 clones/500 series bits etc) , Rhodes/Whirly or a versatile guitar for the studio.

Whoa whoa back up a second there fell! The ultimate pre/power amp rig just casually photographed with a Helix rack. Filth!

Its a beast of a rig for sure. It sounds like the universe imploding through two 8x10.

Man, this looks killer! Love that wood grain. Fair price too and literally down the road from me. This could be the Louis Johnson/Bernard Edwards bass I have been looking for. Very tempting, very tempting indeed. Good that I want a Classic with the 2 band EQ, so I can resist, well, for the moment at least 😉

    GLWTS 👍

Go on treat yourself, I'll even chuck in a free cuppa and some choc biscuits ;)

Stunning, what a beautiful bass! Can see how easy that would have been to Impulse buy!

Yeah, it was an expensive weekend. Getting in to the show before it opens is great, but can be expensive.

Yep, 'Impulse Buys R Us'!  If this were a short-scale, I'd probably be doing it right now 🙂

You should try this if you want a shorty, it smokes ;)

It's such a pretty bass. The wood choices are amazing. Andrew at Anaconda said this is a one off as the wood on the back is really old and there was only this piece. He'd evidently been saving it for a special build.

  7. Recent purchase this. I've wanted one of these Graceland model Washburn's for ever. Bakithi Kumalo is one of the reasons I picked up a bass guitar in the first place.

It's a lovely instrument. But there you go

Lockdown has meant that I've brought loads of my gear home/out of storage. It's been great! But, I've have started to realise how much has amassed.

I've played this bass loads over the last few months.

So, going to start putting some bits and bobs up for sale.

These are great. Low action, big tone. It's in great condition and comes with the OHSC.

Had a few questions about the weight. Its 3.55kg or 7.82lbs. It's at the lighter end of this particular range of basses for sure.

This is an early MusicMan Stirling. Almost 30 years old. It's been well gigged before my custodianship. It's got a John East musicman pre and Seymour Duncan pickup. It's really easy to play and the neck is the best of any MusicMan I've had.

It needed quite a bit of love to get it right. When I got it there was all sorts of electrical issues and needed the frets sorting. It cost a few hundred to sort in the end. It's not mint, but it is amazing.
