  1. FWIW, if wrapping you want to leave about a half cm or less from the bearing edge to allow the head to sit. Use some contact adhesive and a couple of clamps and you're good to go.

If you want a cheaper option, that fake sticky back veneer type stuff you can buy on a roll at Wilkos would also work.

  2. Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders - £80 ONO inc. postage
Still attached to the Squier pots if you want them

    *sold*

Bridge pup, Fender Standard - £35 £30 £25 inc. postage
AFAIK is the same pup in both USA and MIM Standard. A quick search tells me it was used in the Road Worn, Classic 60's and earlier Hwy 1 series. Bobbin says 048613.

  3. ONO

This was my main boy for a spell but it's always been a chop 'n' changer hence it being in parts.  Ideally I'll sell this in two parts but I can sell the neck and tuners separately if you prefer.

    Fully loaded body - £175
We have a Daphne blue Alder body bought from BC maybe 2 or 3 years ago.  Set up for through body stringing if you have a bridge that facilitates it.  Comes with basic bridge and strap pins.  It's not a tight neck pocket, maybe 1 or 2 mm extra space.  Depending on your neck/ howyou like your set up, you may want to shim it.  A little notch has been made to allow for truss adjustments to a USA neck I had on there once.  Not visible with a regular pickguard, of course.
It is loaded with an old Dimarzio Model P, wired for parallel/series with a push/pull pot.  Not sure what that pot is but maybe a Dimarzio, it came wired with the pup.  The tone pot is CTS with an Orange Drop capacitor.  Swithcraft jack socket.  Can also supply the red guard pictured.  Oh, and it has the ashtray.

    Neck and tuners - £200
2018 MIM Maple neck with Gotoh Tuners (unattached as two of the holes are wider than the pre-made holes so rather than attach them I've left them off should anyone want one without the other.  Happy to attach them for you.  String tree is included.  In the pic you'll see a previous failed attempt at attaching one with a brass screw which died so I made a new hole and the bodged hole isn't visible when strung.)

  4.

Interested in trades for a rosewood board Fender neck (P or Jazz) with block inlays or sunburst P bass body. Or a Source Audio C4. Maybe something else I haven't thought of. Try me!

"Roadworn" BB425X. I was going to strip the paint and stain it or something but I liked the matte/almost wood grain look after I'd started to sand it and left it as is 😁
So yeah... less road worn, more hand worn with some light sand paper and scarcely gigged but still a beauty and I swear the action and playability is like that of my old Sandberg, just a different feel to the neck wood.

I upgraded the bridge to a Gotoh but will provide the original ugly thing with the extended lip for the B (makes no difference if you're stringing through anyway).

Just not using a 5er anymore so thought I'd put it up and see if any interest.
