  1. Eminence BASSLITE S2010 8ohm 10" NEO 150watt

Hiya. I have 2 x speakers for sale. These have been safely in a cabinet since 2013. They are in perfect condition despite being used. Never once been pushed- I have been very particular about this.

Great speakers and very light. A very cheap and easy way to improve an old and heavy 2x10 You may have or a wee combo.

£45 per speaker plus delivery. Or I can deliver within a reasonable distance of Glasgow.

No photos at the moment but can arrange this if required

    Ta.

    Absolutely spot on.

For me the Air Fix analogy above doesn't work. It's a model vs a working real machine. We're talking about two things that perform the same task. It's like when people buy fake Louis Vuitton handbags or fake Stone Island jackets. It's wrong. It's not attention to detail, it's robbing someone else's credit.

This is bang on. That spitfire analogy is miles off the mark.

I simply don't understand why it seems to be acceptable to do this. In any other walk of life, rebadging an item to pass it off as a premium brand (hmmm) is just simply wrong. If you're happy to play a Harley Benton for example, then you should be giving them the credit.

In fact, i love to see guys playing not that expensive instruments and making them sound decent!

See, for me that's not clickbait.

'Clickbait', as I understand it, is about enticing people to click on stuff for the sake of generating advertising venue (from click-through fees).

What you've pointed to here is a free tutorial, made available by Scott, which is actually useful. That's not clickbait. Sure, Scott runs a business and he'd love us all to be subscribers to his commercial service. And this video is designed as a taster for that. But it's not clickbait in the true sense of the word. It's just a snappily written video title. Better that than "Practice lick #142" or whatever the alternatives might be ;)

    This. 100%

The content provided for free by Scott (and no doubt the other guy too) is excellent. Can't rely understand how anyone can complain about it!

Clickbait for me is things like 'how to lose a stone in a week guaranteed' or 'see Kylie minogue naked'. I've clicked on both and they weren't what they said they were!

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool PJ player and I couldn't get on with the Aerodyne because:

    1. The bound edges are uncomfortable.
    2. The stock pups are really weedy. I swapped mine for Fralins and this then brought out the real sound of the bass...
    3. The sound of the bass for whatever reason (basswood body perhaps?) didn't click with me.
    4. You can't fit an aftermarket bridge without some fettling. The stock bridge is very good though.

It looks stunning and has a great neck.

It's funny, the sharp body has never even crossed my mind. I feel it, but it's not uncomfortable. I play finger style though so my arm isn't really in that area i suppose.

    That doesn't sound great...
    [/quote]

Yeah... but they sound good together. Plus... I only recently changed the j pickup so it couldn't really uqve been that bad.

Plus it sounds and plays great so it's worth it. My point was dont buy it if you want it to sound just like a pbass.

  6. Every musician should spend an hour or two finding isolated bass tracks of famous tunes just to gwt rhe sound and feel of how they were played. When recording alot of people hear the dry bass track and thinks it sounds awful and won't Bruce that it will work.

What i do find amazing is some vocal dry tracks that don't sound great, or have serious headphone bleed... but end up alright! Studio guys are magicians sometimes!

Added a new pedal board to my pedals. ;)

The DIY trays I made were not really up to the job anymore after I bought a Two Notes Le Bass, this thing is big.
I still need to clean up the wiring but that's a low priority at the moment.

I find this board extremely aesthetically pleasing.

  8. VOX Bass amplug - AP2-BS - Got this for silent practice but I now have a home studio desk set up so this ir redundant. Used it ALOT when i first got it but has sat in a drawer for about 6 months. Works nicely for 6 string guitar too actually. Perfect condition- no box. £22 Delivered?

    Sold*****

  9. Fredric Effects Scrambled Brainz. What a fuzz pedal this is. Once again this was on my bass pedal board. Its perfect for that as one of the knobs is a dry blend. With the blend almost totally clean, this sounds like a really interesting distortion, but with the blend turned up a little it gets VERY fuzzy. Same reason as before, I only really needed it for my old band so has sat unused for a while. Pretty much perfect condition apart from missing the silver plastic cover bit on one of the knobs. No box for this. Good quality velcro.

    £49.99 plus delivery?

  10. £30.00 delivered. Very good condition. covered in velcro which I decided to keep on as it'll almost certainly come in handy for the next user. Not using it therefore I have move it on. Pedals there for illustration purposes only (obviously).

I can happily meet up in Glasgow city centre most evenings and ill knock off a fiver.

  11. £22 delivered. **SOLD**
Great condition and never let me down. Its covered in velcro which i decided to keep on just incase someone finds the use for it. The photo makes it look worse due to dust and flash glare. If you were to get one from Thomann directly this would cost you (delivered to UK) roughly £38. This will come with enough cables although it looks like I'm missing one from the photo - I've got loads lying around so you'll get enough.

If you dont know already, this has isolated inputs rated at 250mu therefore ideal for almost all small/medium pedal boards. If I ever need another multi output power supply I will almost certainly get another one of these, however I dont see that in the near future so this needs to go. I fitted a UK plug to it myself so thats not original.

  12. £45 delivered or £40 picked up from Glasgow (which i can deliver within a reasonable distance)

Rock solid flight case. Used but once you scrape the dust off is very tidy looking. The clips are as good as ever. The actual board is covered in velcro which I chose to leave on as it probably is useful to the next user. Pedals on there for dimensions only. Outer dimensions are roughly 7"x15"x21". According to my Poundland baggage scales this is slightly over 7KG.Same as all my stuff, its not getting used and its gathering dust (as you can see) therefore has to go.

The only trade id want is for a very small pedal board. i.e one of they ones that fits 3 pedals at the most.
