Hurrmph cheerfully withdrawn, M'Lud!
Sadly so near and yet so far - like some I am holding out for a later XL2 but this is still very very nice.

Welcome aboard!
That is one beautiful bass, I love it when I come across new basses I've never heard of before.
I used to have the 'Starlicks' Louis Johnson tuition video which I played til it fell apart. Love that Man!
Also Joined that Onlybass forum (wish I could speak Frence though) but I can always just look at the photos.
Best of luck with the sale

Excellent - my plan is coming together so i shall remain undivorced!
There is a photo of the perception in the Overwater Porn thread with its current stablemate, a blue Original, if anyone wants a look.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on this one
Here
I am only put off by the odd facings but seems a bargain overall.
Already have a Perception, the sale of which will go some way to offset the cost, so basically only paying a few hundred quid for it yet still I hesitate. And they do say he who hesitates is yada, yada, yada......
Basically I want talked into it so when the Missus clocks it I can say some big boys made me do it and ran away!

ps if anyone feels this is in the wrong place please move it, thanks -

Beautiful bass, just sold my old Pro and gassing already for another Wal, but surely a similair new one would cost way more than the quoted £3,200 from Paul.
I thought Wals START at £3,200 (ie a Mach 1, 4 stringer) so this beauty would be substantially more so a real bargain for someone.

Can't believe no-ones commented on this lovely bass yet so I will. Especially as you dont see many of them about.
i really like this but so many basses and so little time (and money)!!
Best of luck with the sale.

I got stick from cousins over the pond once on a forum for admitting not having a problem with shelling out $5K+
on an Alembic if I found one i liked enough. Accused of all sorts of things!
Ho Hum! Onwards and upwards.
Rather unlikely for me - could probably stretch to this...
Possibly - the 2 4 stringers @OGG are 3K - and this dude is open to offers.
Is the link to Walbassistblogspot anything to do with you - is ur goodname being hi-jacked to help the sale - cos at first i assumed seller was same?
Would anyone really pay over 4k for a bass unseen/untried?
Also who's the dame?
BB -
Did one of the headless graphitey mob not build a similair bass but it was a big circular knob at the headless end to operate the moving frets? Again I think it was one off.
Or have i done too many drugs?

Here is a pic of Perception it would replace...........
Also as I am undecided if anyone else wants to take a swing at the Progression and put me out my misery its not a problem......
