According to quite a few people none of this countries problems are due to brexit. None at all, not one, not even a minor inconvenience.

Maybe brexit could have been a success but due to being implemented by clowns, it's a car crash.

Brexit has been a massive success - for those who planned and orchestrated it, they have made billions and don’t give a damn about ordinary people.

This doesn't have an Xlr input for a mic, though, so could only be used as an insert at the console. It might be difficult to use the stomp-switch in that case. There are vocal pedals for this use, though, that allow the singer to control the Fx him/her self. Look at the TC Helicon 'Critical Mass', for instance, for doubling up the vocals.

Nah, just use one of these: https://www.americanmusical.com/audio-technica-cp8201-mic-impedance-matching-transformer/p/AUD-CP8201. Being doing it for ages and works a treat. You can use it for any pedal and get some proper weird effects should you desire.

Seriously, I'd like to meet anyone wiling to spend $1,000 on a Player Series bass just to ask them why they'd even consider spending that kind of money on one of these.

There is a gorgeous hand made Bass on here over the last few days that is for sale at about a third of its new price. It was a bargain but had no interest and the price was dropped about 20% and it still hasn’t sold. Whether you like it, or understand it, there is something about Fenders that people like and that makes them a ‘safe buy’. I have dabbled with a range of stuff but always come back to a Jazz. My Ultra is just the best bass I have ever owned. And it should be given the price! But the prices have gone up so much I could probably break even after a couple of years of ownership.

I had a look at the Fender site just today and an American Pro II P bass 5 is £1819 - not long ago it was £1999. Could be improving exchange rates I suppose? Given few US Fenders are making it to these shores at the moment, it’s odd it went down instead of up (and 3 of 4 colours are in stock apparently).

I never saw those that high but I don’t tend to look at 5s so it wouldn’t surprise me. The Ultra like mine was £1999 until recently but is now over £2100, compared to a few years ago they are all up as far as I can tell. I paid under £1700 on my ultra less than 18 months ago.

Only thing on Google against that number is a comment on here today

That is reassuring, I was offered one a while ago and when I googled the serial number I got loads of hits on forums along the lines of ‘just bought this, is it genuine?’ So I guess they just copy one transfer and stick it on a load.

Fingers crossed, you could be onto a bargain!

I think Friday is one of those unfortunate songs that has become a victim of its own success. A very cleverly crafted piece that just gets played way too often (but then I've made no excuses for being a fan of our and out pop music).

It is just so out of place on the album and is just very clearly there as a single release option. I would have thought they were big enough by then to have full control over output but it seems like a classic record company pressure thing to do. If you listen to wish without it, the whole experience is so much better, it just kills the mood and flow. I don’t actively dislike it, but would never choose to listen to it. It lacks the fun and quirkiness of earlier poppier output like love cats and is very meh to me.
