I was not a fan of Duran Duran back in the day but I was impressed with their performance tonight. Tight band. Even LeBon's vocals were strong and true. The bass sounded full and clear.  Kudos to the sound engineers for a really good job.

Fbass. It sounds alive.

P bass for everything except the pick playing at the end with 70% bass/treble. All good though. Tomorrow I'll change my mind! In reality it depends on the genre of music, the other instruments and their frequencies, and how forward you to be in the the mix. And personal preference of course.

No, solid state. I think they were 10" speakers. I loved the quirky design.

I had one of these. An interesting design, quite lightweight but needing an extension cab for decent gig volume.  And green!

Yes. I find it difficult to judge volume levels on headphones especially if they are of high quality. I do try to keep levels down but it's difficult!

Is that the case whether or not you sing? I always thought it was mouth open for singers but closed for anyone else.

These were purchased to protect from a loud snorer at home; equally as annoying as Tinnitus.

I've done it!

I qualified although it's been many years since I earned my living from music. I still have a 25 year old pair of custom ER15 earplugs, but they might just be past their best. Just need to book the he appointment now.

The G&L sits so well with other instruments. It's dirty & funky. A touch too much sparkle on the other two demands too much attention and they sit too high in the mix though maybe some eq would help.  

I thought the Jazz sat better in the mix.

Quite agree. He explains things very well! I'll be checking out his other material.
