B for B. 0 for the lowest one.
Not sure about the 2H but I believe he's talking about 2nd Harmonic, of something.
Ah, makes sense, thanks.

What is 'B0' and '2H'?

Is that a Trace 8x10 combo I spy in the background?!

Looks great! Plenty of insulation for walls, floor and ceiling?

Fbass. It sounds alive.

P bass for everything except the pick playing at the end with 70% bass/treble. All good though. Tomorrow I'll change my mind! In reality it depends on the genre of music, the other instruments and their frequencies, and how forward you to be in the the mix. And personal preference of course.

@fretmeister Thank you for your contributions to this thread. I'm not interested enough in the outcome of the case to care much either way, but it is refreshing to hear from somebody who knows how it actually works.
Quite agree!

Hi Owen, put me down for a ticket! I need to brush up on my time signatures I think.

One for me, if I'm not already on your list.

Looks good. I have your previous prints on my wall! How about some women? Suzie quatro, Carol Kaye?

Were these valve amps?
No, solid state. I think they were 10" speakers. I loved the quirky design.

Rarely is the question asked: Is our bassists learning?
Eh? Not you as well!

Anyone noticed a correlation between tinnitus and using headphones?
Yes. I find it difficult to judge volume levels on headphones especially if they are of high quality. I do try to keep levels down but it's difficult!

When you get the moulds done ask for the things which wedge your mouth open. You get a better seal.
Is that the case whether or not you sing? I always thought it was mouth open for singers but closed for anyone else.

I also (ordered using the same moulds) use the ACS Sleepsound https://www.acscustom.com/uk/products/sleep-sound
These were purchased to protect from a loud snorer at home; equally as annoying as Tinnitus.
I'm going to order those too. Similar reason, and, in addition, great for camping.

I've done it!
I qualified although it's been many years since I earned my living from music. I still have a 25 year old pair of custom ER15 earplugs, but they might just be past their best. Just need to book the he appointment now.
Thanks for this. Appreciate it.

G&L 1st
Celinder 2nd
Ray 3rd
The G&L sits so well with other instruments. It's dirty & funky. A touch too much sparkle on the other two demands too much attention and they sit too high in the mix though maybe some eq would help.

I thought the Jazz sat better in the mix.

Quite agree. He explains things very well! I'll be checking out his other material.

Not sure if this has been put up already.
I’m not really into his style of music usually but he was smoking this day. I love the backing singers at around 2:57 too they are almost etherealVery soulful. So intense I'd had enough before the end of the song!

I was not a fan of Duran Duran back in the day but I was impressed with their performance tonight. Tight band. Even LeBon's vocals were strong and true. The bass sounded full and clear. Kudos to the sound engineers for a really good job.
