  1. I don’t but I should sort that, didn’t know that was a thing until a few months ago. I’ve had plenty of purchases and sales on here without any fall outs or tears if that helps. Feel free to message me for more info so I’m not getting unfair bumps haha
  2. Hi! I have no idea of the age, the number has been sanded at some point, previous owner had no idea of age either. I’ve had the neck off to check info when I traded for it but can’t remember the details. Happy to take it off for a look if you’re interested though
  3. Looking to trade this bass for a decent cab (10" or 12" speakers only). Would also consider mustang bass or feel free to send me offers for other things via message. Ok so people seem to ask crazy money for these but this one is a mess cosmetically. Nice neck shape and great tone which is why it has stuck with me for 6 years. The story is I traded an amp for this ages ago from a studio after using it to record and loving the sound. It has been my main recording bass since getting it but it has recently lost out to a Moollon P which I am loving. It has been given a very poor DIY relic job at some point hence to low value so make sure you check out the photos properly, and feel free to ask for more. Basically i'd recommend this if you just need a great P sound and aren't bothered about the look. It's got a brand new set of flats on it and comes in a fender gig bag. Feel free to ask me anything Cheers Joe

Very good clean preamp in very good condition. happy to post
  5. Selling my OC3 as I'm moving to multi fx solution. Pedal in great condition and its stayed on the OC-2 setting on my board for the entire time I've had it. Happy to post! Thanks for looking Joe
  6. Yes passive mode sounds great but I just don’t want all the extra bits and pieces when I’m never going to use them, seems a waste! I may need to just accept that my taste in basses is very boring!
  7. Yea realised they were RAW when I’d left already
  8. Hi all! So I recently bought this from here and it's great but I need to realise once and for all that I'm not into active basses. Previous owner kept this in great condition and its the nicest neck I've played to date! I've managed to find the perfect bass for me so need to sell this one. It's a lovely sherwood green and comes with it's original case which is a really nice soft case. dropped this to £1250 for a quick sale, pretty sure this is as cheap as you’ll get one one these Thanks for looking Joe
  9. So... after researching (thanks @wateroftyne for the very helpful vids), listening and following this thread I feel like the WB 100 is my perfect amp. I’m guessing I’ve got more chance of being struck by lightening than finding a used one? If so I may be sending the email in the not too distant future!
  10. So first things first I'm not 100% decided on this as I love this thing but, I've got two P's one for rounds one for flats and my other P doesn't have as beefy a neck as this one so I'm thinking of trading for something a little less chunky. It's obviously still great to play but I'm switching on a song by song basis which can feel strange. I'm choosing this one to go despite it being my favourite as my other P is a messy looking mexi with little value but a great sound. This one has some nicks as the nitro finish is pretty thin, I'm not one for having nicks all over my basses but these are really tough to keep pristine, I'm sure others with AO series instruments can agree and I'm guessing if you buy these you might not be after the super clean look anyway. The holes are not drilled for the covers I've just played them on there as they come with the bass, I'm crap at bass anyway the last thing i need is covers in the way. I'm looking for P or J style basses (no brand loyalty so anything considered as long as its somewhat traditional) obviously no overly chunky necks. I'm open to cash adjustment either way and also open to sale with the idea of maybe ordering something from Maruszczyk or buying something else on here. Again apologies in advance if I'm picky but it will need to be something I really fancy for me to trade. Any offers or info requests message me so the post isn't bumped by a bunch of offers. Thanks for looking Joe
  11. Yea me and the guy who records for the band did a bunch of research and these for me are the best that ampeg have by some distance
  12. HX stomp in great condition, gigged but always kept in a safe pedalboard case. I'm swapping to the HX FX due to not needing the amp/cab sims at the moment, used this at gigs with no amp for most of the past year and it's been great. If you happen to have an FX and were thinking about upgrading to this then happy days! Im guessing this will be around the £10 to post Any questions feel free to message, even if its just about the functionality and getting a good live tone out of it without an amp I'm happy to nerd out Thanks for looking, Joe
  13. Great DI which I'm sure you all know. There is some noise when you switch between tone presets which might just need a clean by someone who isn't terrified of opening it up. It also has some residue from what looks like foam from a rack case glued on? you can see this on the pictures but it's not a big deal. None of this has given me any issues using it in the studio and live. Any question just ask, I also don't mind recording some sound clips for anyone who is interested. Should be easy enough to find something to ship this in if needed. Thanks for looking, Joe
  14. Thanks mate, yea doesn't get much better does it haha. Yea these heavy duty cases put my mind at ease big time
  15. Selling this beast as I've got more going on live than in the studio and thats where this has lived aside from a few gigs. Not going to go on about this being the best amp ever, everyone knows what these are about. It is in really great condition as the case that It's lived in (included) is great. I'm looking to get myself a pf-50t and a couple pf cabs so if you have any of that to trade towards it I'd be interested. Aside from that long shot id be interested in something short scale (mustang/Supro type thing) but I struggle to turn down a nice P or J so feel free to try me Obviously this thing isn't going in the post but id be confident that even a courier couldn't do any damage to it in that case. I'm also willing to do a little driving if it helps to meet somewhere, may be subjective to what travelling we are able to do Thanks for looking and stay safe! Joe
  16. Hi, @wateroftyne answered your question a few posts up, apparently production is starting up again which is great news
  17. Two extremely light extremely good sounding cabs! I know there are a lot of members who love these and know a lot more about them than me, it was also a great shame to hear that they aren't being made anymore? very sad news. these are in great condition and have rarely left the house but are a very easy one handed lift. Impedance: 8 Ω Power handling (high average power test signal): 250 W RMS Recommended amplifier power: 150-300 W RMS @ 8 Ω Sensitivity[average]: 99 dB SPL @ 1W/1m Sensitivity[100Hz]: 98 dB SPL @ 1W/1m Sensitivity[max]: 103 dB SPL @ 1,5 kHz, 1W/1m Frequency response (-10db): 46 Hz - 4,8 kHz Displacement: 258 cm³ Measurements (WxHxD): 52x38x33 cm Weight: 10 kg I would consider trade/part trade for a cab with 10"s I'm not sure exactly how I would pack these to ship but I'm sure I could sort something out! Thanks for looking! Joe
  18. Yea I knew it wasn't a big problem I just wanted to make sure it was documented, wouldn't want the buyer to be surprised by it. I appreciate someone who has done it themselves commenting too, clears the problem up, thanks
  19. Honestly I’m not sure and have no way to really measure but this is it next to my other P, looks narrower to me. I know this isn’t super helpful sorry about that (limelight left)
  20. I’m based in Newcastle, sorry should have put that in there
  21. For sale, Limelight P bass! Selling this due to buying an SVT for recording, sad to see it go but needs must. Reason for the price is simply the previous owner has told me the bridge saddles may be seized, I have not checked as the setup is fine as is. I contacted the man himself regarding this, this was the response. the parts of the bridge do unfortunately have a tendency to seize up but fairly easy to rectify: if you get a good screwdriver on the intonation screws (the long ones) they usually undo ok - i'll be surprised if they don't - and take off the saddle. if you do one at a time you can make a mental note (or take a picture) of its position which will save you having to re-do the intonation. when it's off, you need to hold it in a gas flame (blow torch is best if you have one, or failing that your gas hob) and heat it up. when really hot plunge it into a jar of cold water and then try to move the height adjustment screws. try back and for first. usually they loosen up easily, if they don't then repeat the process. this will definitely work - i've never been unable to free of the screws like this, especially since your bass is pretty new. Other than this the bass is spot on. Sounds great and has been a huge part of the last set recordings Ive done. I have a box to ship if needs be but more than happy for anyone to come and try, I'll make sure there is an amp here and some coffe! Any questions feel free to ask Joe
  22. Top guy! Really quick payment and easy transaction, no BS cheers
