1. Sounds great is my local music shop, I have been going in there for over 20 years, spent a fortune........F*** em! I've stopped going in there now. I find the staff a bit abrupt and miserable as sin. I now go to PMT in Salford, Friendly staff and better deals.
 2. I've got a fretless 4 Ashbury Acoustic bass. Its a really good bass for the money Zebrano back and sides. The preamp isnt bad either. I changed the pick-up for a fishman.......makes all the difference, It's a bargain! Good look with the sale.

FWIW, Mark King sold his a while ago.
That's correct, a cash adjustment will almost certainly come in to play! Mark King ripped the frets out of his......and thinking about it his was probably just the stock version.

MY SINCERE APPOLOGIES TO THOSE WHO HAVE EXPRESSED AN INTEREST IN THIS BASS, ALAS, I HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP HER, I'VE REALISED THAT I MIGHT LIVE TO REGRET PARTING WITH SUCH A RARE INSTRUMENT.
 10.
I got this nice Gibson Victory bass , 1984 , all original , phase switch was removed but it's quite easy to resinstall , the bass is very nice in fingering and have a blasting sound with pick particularly interested in trade with Jv squiers or Aria Pro SB , but open to other offers a picture of the bass...you can see others in my website www.bassoffice.tk section basses for sale
I used to own a fretless one of these! Well built and nice to play........would work better as a fretted bass though.
 11.
This was my main gigging Bass until "Marvin" arrived and I really need to thin my collection down. Sunburst with Maple Neck, Jazz/MM configuration. Has recently had a Bart 5.4 AP pre-amp installed and set-up by Steve Robinson of Sale. Mike Tobias recommended the pre and it is amazing. Usual controls, Vol/Bal/Bass/Middle/Treble and a push/pull on the Volume for Active/Passive. It also has a 3 position toggle that changes the "Mid" frequencies. Steve also routed the body to install a flip-top battery box. Has a small ding on the top of the headstock and some other minor ones that have not chipped the paintwork. A truly awesome Bass that is also pretty light. Looking for £375 for her.
Hey! I think I used to own that very bass! It sounded great then.........I bet it's mega now with the preamp. If your thinking about an MTD then go for it £375 = bargain you would be hard pushed to find another decent 5 string for the money. I recomend lighter strings say 40-100 to compensate for the higher string tension feel associated with a longer scale. Good luck with the sale.
